Remember Chiptopia? Chipotle's Attempt at Distracting You From their E-Coli Scare.
The year was 2016. The Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Cavaliers each won a championship snapping incredibly long droughts. Leo DiCaprio wins an Oscar for the first time for the Revenant. Hamilton sweeps the nation and makes America love Broadway again. And lastly, a batch of E-Coli filled lettuce runs through Chipotle quicker than it would run through you...if you know what I mean.

The Super Bowl came and went and you might be someone who has no idea what happened. Hopefully by now you've gained a trick: if you say Tom Brady won, you have a good chance of being right even if you didn't watch the game. You also might be someone who mixes up sports terms; is it the Super Bowl, Stanley Cup, or World Cup? Honestly, you're probably safe if you just say some type of dish. Super Plate?

Ah, quarantine. A time for thinking, sleeping, streaming, and eating. Usually, food and movies are at the top of my, and all of America’s, to-do list...but when the Covid hits, we take them to the next level. Our family finally ran out of luck this week, and half of us tested positive. We're all remaining healthy, but getting more and more stir crazy by the day. So in between naps, catching Pokémon, and more naps, it’s been food and movies for me. Oh--and WandaVision. Such a good show.
Enough About Spicy Chicken Sandwiches in 2021
New year, new trends, am I right? No. I am not right. For some reason, we as a culture are more divisive than ever, and I am not talking about politics, I am talking about this stupid spicy chicken sandwich war that was originated when people were ACTUALLY murdered over a Popeyes Spicy Chicken Sandwich. No seriously, that happened.

Emilio (Sleepy) SalinasPublished 3 years ago in FeastThe Pumpkin Spice Latte
Everyone has heard of the pumpkin spice latte, or PSL if you will. It is a classic fall drink that we look forward to all year. But, what makes this drink so popular? The sweet syrup, a sprinkle of cinnamon, some whipped cream, and best of all, the spice. A pumpkin spice latte can be enjoyed hot or cold and if you’re like me, it can be enjoyed at any time of day. And the earlier they release this fall flavor, the better. Nothing is more disappointing than pulling up to the drive-thru speaker at the beginning of October and they don’t even have it yet. Once I get the first sign of fall, a slight chill, some color in the leaves, I need that PSL.

Talia DevoraPublished 4 years ago in FeastKing Vitaman has been discontinued
King Vitaman was a favorite cereal of mine and other baby boomers for many years. It tasted to me like the Cap’n Crunch that is sold in stores today with less sugar. than in years past. KV was actually marketed as having less sugar than the Cap’n when it was first being produced. King Vitamin was a sweet crunchy brand of breakfast food produced by Quaker Oats that has only been sold in the United States. It was discontinued in 2019 to the disbelief of those who enjoyed this product. The sovereign ruler has an interesting back story that might interest all who are curious.
Cheryl E PrestonPublished 4 years ago in FeastSprinkle day national, It’s celebrated annually on July 23rd.
The best way to celebrate Sprinkles Day is just to put sprinkles on everything you can! Add some sugar sprinkles! Getting a muffin at lunch? Add sprinkles to it! Want to have a heaping Ice Cream Sundae for dessert? Give it some color with a nice dash of sprinkles. Of course, if you want to introduce a global snack to your kids, give them fairy bread so they can learn a little bit about international cultures while you’re at it! (Provided, of course, you’re not in Australia, in which case it’s just a snack). Sprinkles are one of those things that can make any day better, so grab a container and start adding them to things!
