Game Day Snacks
You never had a game day until you’ve had it with me. I like to add all my favorite snacks to the menu. I have been able to travel and live in many different places so I take with me a culture from the places I’ve lived. I grew up in New Orleans, LA, one of the best places to visit. New Orleans is full of traditions and culture. We have some of the best food in the World. One of my Favorite foods is Shrimp Poboy. A Poboy is a large sandwich that was first made to feed families who were on strike from the New Orleans Street Cars not running. Many families lost money from not working, so the Martin Brothers from the French Market Restaurant in 1929 decided to feed the unemployed workers on Strick because they too were out of work. The Poboy was made to be a long and big sandwich so that when divided into pieces everyone would still get a big portion to eat. My Favorite is the Shrimp Poboy which consists of French Bread, Fried Shrimp, Lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, seasoning and mustard for me. You can add hot sauce or whatever you want after that. I like my poboy Packed with Overflowing Fried Shrimp. A Shrimp poboy sandwich is so big you have to hold it with two hands. Once you bite into it, it feels like heaven. One of the best Sandwiches you will ever taste in your life. The next thing on the menu would be Southern Style Nachos. I used to live in Houston Texas and that is where I learned to make Southern Style Nachos. This style of Nachos is made with Velveeta Cheese or any type of melted cheese that will be creamy and melty. I like to add either Turkey Ground meat cause I don’t eat much beef or Beyond meat for Vegan Lovers and Rotel Tomatoes. No meal like this is complete without Onions, Green Peppers, Garlic and Tony Chachere Seasoning. I use Tony Chachere seasoning on all my food. It is one of the best seasonings in New Orleans with a Cajun Seasoning taste. You know I have to add My New Orleans Traditions to the taste. My Nachos I like to add Tortilla Chips to it or some people like to eat it with Doritos. What Chips you eat it with is all up to you. Southern nachos is one of the best nachos I’ve ever had. It’s like Queso and chips in a Mexican Restaurant but better Bec of the meat. You will love it.

Buffalo Chicken Dip, the real MVP
What’s the best food incentive for a Super Bowl party? Buffalo chicken dip! It’s zesty, creamy, and delicious! It’s so good my friends come just for it. They’ve walked into my house, sat down at the dining table, and immediately dug into the dip. If that doesn’t speak volumes, I don’t know what will.

The Perfect Feast
Admit it, the moment you read the challenge name, your mind most likely went either to chips or chicken wings. Even the description has spicy wings as an option, along with chips and dip! I know for certain that if anyone ever invites me over for a game day, they always have some form of chicken wings out for all to feast upon with a plethora of chips and dips on the side. With so many different options to chose from, you can never go wrong with either option. So, why not do both? Let us begin with our main course.

Our family bond with Fritos
Our family bond with Fritos Traditions in our family have shifted a bit through the years. When I was a young girl my family lived in Wichita Kansas. Our family was not rich as far as money and monetary possessions, but family food and good times were always in abundance. My father was a mason by trade and still young, so very much bottom man on the totem pole. This caused the winter months to be a bit more challenging for us all. Work as a mason in the winter was not booming to say the least.

Ameriguese Cuisine
There is something so special and almost intimate about food. When you break bread with others, you connect with them. You open up and they do, too. I love cooking and connecting with people over food. Any food. Sweet, savory, drive through, high end... It doesn't matter, I love it all. Not just for the delicious flavors, but for the connection.

Relax, Eat and Watch the Super Bowl
Unless I'm with my friends who enjoy watching the Super Bowl, I don't care that much for the Super Bowl game. I mainly perceive this opportunity to spend some quality time with my friends, as well as pig out on my favourite junk foods, as opposed to simply watching the game. I also love to use this opportunity to make homemade food to share with my friends. I've never been the type of person to watch sports games, like my dad and my brothers. When they would be spending time watching hockey games in the living room together, I would often read a book on the large beige sofa, spend time in the basement, or hibernate in my bedroom. If I was doing nothing in the living room, I would pretend to watch the games, just to enjoy their company.

When I think of hometowns my mind always goes to the types of food that you can get there. Now, maybe I just have an unhealthy relationship with food...okay I probably do...but I'm pretty sure most will agree that when we think of a town that just gives us that hometown feeling, it's because it has some epic food!

Score Big with This Super Bowl Snack
For me, the Super Bowl is a modern version of the classic tale of two opposing forces battling it out to see who emerges victorious. This year, it’s even more symbolic with a king holding steadfast to the throne and a daring prince rallying to replace him. This story within the story is one of the reasons I'm excited to watch the game. Oh... and the food.
