Matthew
Matthew Ch.1 Frost Streams of warmth folded like rollerblades down the back of his head, by the time the pea-sized oceans met with the curve of his neck they were sickles of frost. In every passing moment, he thought of Sarah. Numb was not a matter of the stiffness he felt in his body, but rather the sadness of his existence slowly dwindling. As blood escaped through the center of his forehead his hands lay there wishing they could hold in the aperture just a little while longer. The rivers moved, they flowed excessively. Her tiny hands, her two teeth that happened to pop in at the same time, and her blanket, the one with the bunnies. You know the one she was wrapped in on her arrival, her debut, the one that made its home on his shoulder for the first 6 months of her life, excepting all of her milky messes.

No title-Just an impact (Hopefully)
Sometimes the most important events can happen on some of the most unassuming days. The world can fall out of axis any minute now. The sun could explode without warning. A person could die in two minutes flat. You could lose everything in a single breath. You never know. And there's no way you could ever be the same.

Se was afraid he was grtting into something that would hurt him or his family. She had told Kara that he had been acting strange lately. Mind My Brother
Through the window, he could see a thin fog creeping across the ground between the gums. He felt an increase in moisture where the sleeves of his polo shirt ended, and his breathing felt restricted. He had often felt like this since events had brought him from his city home to this sixty-year-old house on the northern side of a mountain. A mountain with bush, and bird songs of all types. They even haunted his dreams.

The 3 Most Wanted
My name is Meg. I am 23 locked up in a county jail for women in California for the rest of my life. Every day is a blur to me but yet so clear to re-live in my head everyday as to why I’m here. I can still hear the screaming for help. I can hear the click of the gun and smell the smoke debris from the gun and it’s fresh. Last summer was supposed to be the summer of all summers. My best friend Mya came all the way from Atlanta. I haven’t seen her for years prior to last summer. That was my right hand man. But time can deceive the people you thought were someone else. To me she still was.. even after what happened. It’s 3 of us. Me, Mya, and Trish. Trish is short for Trisha. Trisha was always the one girl who looked at life as a party every single day. But as for Trisha she disappeared after high school. Maybe changed her life and wanted to not know us anymore. I can’t help but laugh thinking about the time I first tried Hennessy. The face I made when I coughed from the disgusting taste. The smiles that spread across Trish and mya’s face in awe that I finally tried something they thought I was too innocent to try. Yea. I can’t believe I’m here. I had straight A’s and a job at my college. What happened? Let’s go back to June 28th, 2020.

Made by the USA
I crossed the snow-covered street with cautious steps. Slick reflective patches of ice tempted my balance, as the wind blustered against me, but the treads of my boots held. I counted three cars and a truck parked in front of the Crossroads Tavern. It seemed like a quiet night for what I assumed was an otherwise busy establishment.

Bailey!
The train is small, so even if we wouldn’t have been eloped we’d still have to sit together. I offered him the window seat and I did it, not because I was trying to be nice, but mainly just so that no one gets suspicious with the level of hyperventilation coming from him. I really tried my hardest to keep Miles calm because he seemed on the verge of a panic attack, but the fact that he didn’t take anything I said seriously didn’t help. I tell him to face the window and to focus on the view of the coast rather than what we just did. Surprisingly, he listened to me and was visibly calming down by the minute. He fell asleep shortly and I remained all alone with the thoughts of our uncalculated journey. Where are we gonna go? What are we gonna do? How are we gonna earn a living?

A Plea of Forgiveness
The bells of the café clatter together as you open the door. You hear a lot of cheerful good mornings and a “welcome in”. The smell of roasted coffee fills your nose and you hear your stomach growl. The atmosphere of the coffee shop is quiet, but the continuous sound of typing, the grinding of coffee and milk being steamed engulfs the shop. People are listening to music and are too busy on their computers or phones, sipping on their Frappuccino’s or Americanos to mind any attention to you.

The Cleansing Fire
Tracey Hartmann was walking through Royal Victoria Park looking with a slight resentment as the happy young couples that walked past her. She soon felt someone tap her on the shoulder, and turned round. She was met with an aged man that was full of sprightly joy and wearing a smart suit with a tartan necktie.
