Stand Atlantic has been one of the hottest and fastest climbing bands in the pop punk world in the last 2 years. Their sophomore album, does not disappoint. The title itself tells you just what this album is about. Normally when someone sees a pink elephant, it is the cause of drunken hallucinations, and this album walks you through the life of an alcoholic. From questioning life to using liquid courage as a coping mechanism, you will NOT be disappointed and will bop your way through this album!

Taylor Swift's 'Folklore' Album Review
Taylor Swift. We know and love her all too well as she unmasked this collection of songs that she had written over the last several months while we've been busy parading around covered up as to avoid any physical connection during this abnormal quarantine. Taylor Swift's 'Folklore' album was released on Thursday evening with less than a twenty-four hour notice. Definitely not what TS fans normally expect. Every and any fan is used to several months of Easter eggs displayed about on every social media platform out there. It gives each one of us an idea(or a plethora of them) to figure out what is soon to take place. But Taylor put a good twist on it this time and sought to 'do the different' just plopping this wholesome goodness onto our very laps.

Taylor Swift floklore Track by Track Breakdown
1. the 1 the 1 (In my interpretation) is a song about thinking about a past love that she wished would have worked out and whishing that they would have ended up together, but sometimes “the greatest loves of all time are over now”. This song is also about personal growth, because when Taylor says “And if you never bled, you’re never gonna grow” which puts on emphases that if we don’t go through pain and hurt, we are never going to learn or grow up. It is just a part of life. This song is great, and I love the nice slow and calm beat that comes along with it. This song and the rest of the album is stripped back, and it really puts a spotlight on the acoustics

Folklore - Taylor Swift
Holy shit guys! Taylor Swift just dropped an album OVER NIGHT, and I was not prepared, but it’s fine, it’s okay! I got this! For whatever reason, I feel drawn to make a review to this album. I am intrigued by the title because there doesn’t seem to be a song on the album called “Folklore”, which makes me think that this album is simply Taylor free writing. It’s possible that a lot of these songs aren’t even about her life, but about random stories or other’s lives, etc. Let’s jump in!

Without any warning, Taylor Swift dropped her newest album just a couple of days ago and without absolutely any publicity at all, it has already captured the attention of fans and critics everywhere. Such is the power of one of the most influential pop stars of the 21st century. Like many of us in isolation, it seems she has taken the opportunity to stretch her creative muscles, and thus, 'folklore' was born. Not only did no one expect a new album, as she mentions in an Instagram post, neither did she, which would explain the lack of fanfare preceding her newest offering. As we have experienced in these uncertain times, and with many of us being significantly more free of social engagements and commitments outside the home and if you’re like me, you will have been doing a lot of life re-evaluating and self-introspection, and it is apparent that her creative mind has been running wild. Except this time, it’s not all about her.
