A Playlist Like No Other #1
A few years ago I started a list of songs that were , in my opinion , #LikeNoOther , on my Seven Days In blog. These are eight songs for that list , and there will be a lot more in future.
Mike Singleton - MikeydredPublished 3 years ago in BeatBeneath the crust of 'Bread Records'
As you may know, I love all indie music. I've made a playlist from wicked independent artists and also interviewed some of them. Today, however, we are taking a slightly different approach. We are talking to a record label. I know what you're thinking. A record label? Charlie, what on earth has gotten into you? What are you thinking? Safe to say that Bread records aren't your run of the mill record label. No, they are an independent label with a difference. Not only do they promote the few artists they have signed, but they also help promote other independent artists from the local scene in manchester. They work with promoters to book gigs and host an open mic night. So there you go, I'm let off the hook. They might be a record label, but they are featuring and supporting local artists. That is worthy of my praise. Luckily I got to catch up with Micheal Webster and ask him a few questions. He's a hard-working musician, running the label but also an artist as well. I want to thank him for answering my questions and I hope you will find his answers insightful.
Charlie SmithPublished 3 years ago in BeatGG Allin: Shock Rock's Greatest Poop Slinger(?!)
Here I am taking a brief look at the life of notorious shock-rocker Kevin Michael "GG"/Jesus Christ Allin. You know, the guy who is known for cutting or beating himself up on stage, headbutting women in his audience, or throwing poop around, or drinking it, and stuff like that. THAT GG Allin. Even though I'm far from a super fan, I do know some people who talk about GG Allin a lot -- in fact, way too much (one person I know apparently even corresponded with him). So he has obviously had an impact on people, for better or worse.

You see the flyer for yourself! It went down October 9th on Caffeine TV. The Card was eagerly anticipated by battle rappers and battle rap fans. Coming off of the Summer Madness XI card, URL looked to keep their momentum going, with this action packed card. As good as the card looked on paper it didn't quite live up to the expectations of what we thought. Two of the the battles that were scheduled to be on the card were cancelled. Ryda vs Emerson Kennedy and Danny Myers vs Fonz were the two battles that didn't get a chance to happen. Hopefully URL can make those battles happen in the future as they are competitive matchups.

Song: Meet Me At Our Spot By: The Anxiety (Willow, Tyler Cole) General Review: I just stumbled across the live version of this song and eventually fell in love with it. Why didn’t I come across this masterpiece before now? This song radiates the best vibes! It is one of those songs you play when you're on a road trip or on a long drive. It's so beautiful in a way that makes you want to speak about it. But at the same time, you can't explain it because it's that beautiful!
The Seasons of Franklin Stone
"Franklin Stone is a rapper, singer/songwriter, and producer based out of Maryland. He was also born in Maryland, but soon moved to South Carolina to be closer to his grandmother. Growing up relatively poor, Stone spent days on a farm as well as working hard in school and learning to play the saxophone and drums, cultivating his musical talent in church. After moving back to Maryland in 2007, Stone began recording music in high school, but it was not until after college that he began releasing his music. His first release was the Swirl Pack, a two song single boasting 21 and Fruit of my Labor in 2019. As the Covid-19 pandemic forced a worldwide quarantine, Stone ramped up his production, releasing To Be Frank, Lenses, Rain Transition as singles in 2021 from his debut EP Seasons on October 8th." Many years ago I was made redundant and to teach myself ASP.NET I created a website called “Song of the Salesman” , This meant I had something to show potential employers when looking for contracts. At hit’s height it brought me in about £400 a a month but Shazam and streaming effectively killed it off as an entity.

Michael James FlynnPublished 3 years ago in BeatThe effects of music on various aspects of human life
Artistic music is a source of entertainment, joy and happiness that flows in the body of any culture and if used properly, it plays the role of painkiller for body and soul. Listening to music is one of the few activities that involves the whole brain. Much research has been done on the effects of music on humans and various results have been obtained. Some have found music useful, some ineffective, and some harmful. Of course, it must be admitted that not all types of music are good and useful. The sound of music should not be too loud and disturbing and distract us from what we are doing. This article refers to some of the research that has been done on the effects of music on humans. If you really intend to use music to treat or achieve a specific goal, or if you spend a lot of time listening to music, be sure to consult with people who are aware of the effects of music on humans and do more research in this area.
The Plight of the Modern Day Boy Band
No, I am not embarrassed for liking Harry Styles. But why do people make me feel as if I should? The Current Problem After the release of Harry Styles’ first album, self-titled, I didn’t give it a good listen. This wasn’t for any particular reason, maybe it was a lack of time...however, I wonder if it was something more. Maybe I inherently thought his super fans hyped it up too much (spoiler: they didn’t). But, after my sister convincingly had me listen to his second album, Fine Line, I was immediately hooked.
X.Guardians delivers the music
Since he burst onto the scene with his first solo EP, ATLANTIS, at the beginning of 2021, the whirlwind journey of French producer and DJ X.Guardians, on the dance music scene, has been simply exponential. Blossoming in a Trance register, as well as in a Melodic and Deep techno style, his discography, more and more provided, with titles, become classics, as “Beyond the Dream”, “Tantra”, or still “Neptunia” allowed him to be spotted by labels as Alveda Music, PR Records or Bewild Records. At the heart of X.Guardians’ rise is his fanbase, a loyal and dedicated circle of growing followers. As a DJ, X.Guardians made his debut in 2018, first performing at several swanky establishments in the city of Perpignan, and then performing on the Twitch platform during the 2020 lockdown. His fans have a lot to look forward to this year, and in those to come, as X.Guardians will be releasing a dozen new tracks, as well as a new EP at the end of the year under the international label Alveda Music. He continues to regale listeners with his distinct blend of bass grooves, light melodies wrapped in sweet strands, and catchy synths. Constantly growing, he looks forward to leaving his mark and sensibility on the dance music landscape.
