Let me set the scene: You’re huddled on the couch with all the lights out, taking cover under your blankets as you watch the horror movie play out on the TV screen. The blanket is balled up in your tight fists as the minor keys of the orchestra keep you on the edge of your seat. Because of the drop in key, you know a jump scare is coming.

I’ve done one Halloween playlist and seen that others are doing second and third ones. I think if you actually include videos , it takes a little more effort , though not quite the real time I had to put in making mix tapes in the seventies. a modern graveyard smash
When I hear graveyard smash, my first thought is of the music at the Halloween party the kids' parents went to in Disney's Hocus Pocus. This playlist though, contains music different than what we've been accustomed to over the years, the '90s especially. Music and horror have evolved, and the slow, dark and heavy beats that follow reflect just that. These songs are sure to get you moving, ladies and vamps, so grab your tequila and turn this up underneath the moon. Happy Halloween ya freaks!
