Tunes to Chill you to the Bone...
Imagine this: a Hallowe’en gathering that involves a whole bunch of awesome friends (chatting and banter aplenty) with drinks in hand, sat foot tapping round a campfire. The surrounding woodland creaking and looming under a full moon, with various instruments being twanged and jammed to this playlist, creating a perfectly mixed potion for an epic all Hallows night..

https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3BHUDZ2pzyHaxzEKOzKCWk?dl_branch=1&si=tO-HwbcOQ-S1PIHyqrLTkg I am predominantly a writer of fiction but when the challenge presented itself, to create a Halloween-themed playlist, I could not pass it by.
Beth SarahPublished 3 years ago in BeatBoos on Broadway: A Halloween Playlist
After more than a year of darkness due to the pandemic, the lights of Broadway are shining brightly once again. And I, for one, am ready for those curtains to part, transporting me and the audience on a shared journey. Live performances affect us in palpable ways, building empathy and nurturing compassion. Of course, they also take us to the darker sides of humanity. As soon as box offices opened, I planned a weekend to New York City. This month I’ll be attending Moulin Rouge and Six, in addition to two traveling Broadway shows, Waitress and Pretty Woman, in Washington DC before the end of year.
Jennifer ChristiansenPublished 3 years ago in Beat80s Horror: A Soundtrack
After taking a back seat in the 1950s and 60s, the horror genre began to build momentum again in the 70s and outright exploded in the 1980s. This new generation of splatterpunks eschewed the trappings of yesterdecade’s gothic fantasies in favor of more visceral, modern terrors. The filmmakers were young and reckless, the actors were young and desperate, and the audiences were young and bloodthirsty. As such, it was inevitable that the music would take on a hipper, fresher sound.
Micah DelhauerPublished 3 years ago in BeatYour Soundtrack to 90,000 Hours in Hell
Imagine a horror film where someone is willingly held captive and tortured for 90,000 hours, almost a third of their life. The torturer teases them by promising a few days off the horror every week but never keeps their word. This person's freedom is curtailed until they're broken, psychologically and mentally.
Charlie BrownPublished 3 years ago in BeatDo not hear this Playlist on Halloween!
The first time that I've heard about Halloween was when I was ten years old and learning a new language in English classes. Don't get me wrong, I've seen Halloween in movies on TV, but preparing and enjoying Halloween it's a whole new part of it.

For as long as I can remember: Halloween has/is/ and will always be hands down my favorite holiday and in general favorite time of the year. From the costumes, music, parties, cool/cold weather, and the spooky atmosphere I love everything Halloween has to offer. Shame it only comes around once a year. Now we all know the classics for this time of the year. Songs like: Monster Mash, Thriller, This is Halloween, I put a spell on you, etc are all classics. I love them all, however I already know they're going to be discussed to death in general let alone for this challenge. So I decided why not throw in my own choices for songs that can easily become classics give the chance. As always in no particular order.
Dyllon RodillonPublished 3 years ago in BeatAll Hallows’ Eve Essentials
During the time of the Autumn season coming up to the end of October, Halloween (All Hallows' Eve) is such a sugary, spooky and slightly shivery time of a festive period for the night of the 31st.
One Lost Moment
Coming from a small town, called Husum, in the far North of Germany all the way to Los Angeles in California, I was given the amazing opportunity to collaborate with world-renowned musicians, producers, and record in iconic studios, being in one room with Grammy nominees to make music together…musicians and studios who left their marks in history and are part of platinum, gold, and Grammy-winning records and we were making music together: the songs that I have written on my dad’s old guitar. I was stoked out of my mind and truly felt like a kid again. The world of recording studios was my playground. Beyond that, throughout this incredible journey, I’ve had the pleasure and privilege to collaborate with people who made the music I listened to while I was growing up — the creative minds who inspired me to make music with my family and friends when I was young. Their music was the soundtrack to my youth. Having this opportunity is the story I fell in love with. It just blew my mind. I am deeply grateful for this experience and the moments we shared. Gjova

I went a different way on creating this playlist. more of life terrors and scares, and some of the artists that have Halloween type names. this playlist this is primarily about the life horrors that we deal with the people we encounter, through the world, and through ourselves.
Brandon ConstantinePublished 3 years ago in Beat🎃Fright-Night Karaoke🎃
It's finally that time again - The spookiest, fun day of the entire year! On Halloween we are given the chance to become anyone or anything that we can possibly imagine. Maybe you dream of becoming a fearful and mysterious ghost, haunting your enemies all night long. What about a sexy, bodacious pirate chick who wins the heart of the infamous Jack Sparrow. An evil doctor who finally gets his homicidal revenge or a mousy princess locked away in a dusky, gloomy, haunted castle.
