A Traveler’s Tale and A Little Black Book
The ferry finally arrived at the Greek island of Ios. Maggie and Nicole had been rocking the waves since 6:00 am that morning. They are on the last leg of their backpacking trip through Europe. They were both experiencing a mix of emotions. “Wow, finally the last leg of our trip.” And “Oh, bummer this is the last leg of our trip.”

Bitcoin. The Great Work Around.
Before I started writing, I led a customer service team. We worked in a complicated, outdated reservation system. The goal was to provide resolution for our customers. So, you know what we did? We worked around the system. We created shortcuts to make it right for our customers. We added things here, and toggled things there. We made phone calls and negotiated out of expensive errors. The point is, our team did whatever it took to make sure our customers got what they paid for. We were successful and won awards for our accomplishments. I can’t help but think, on a much larger scale, this is what was going through the mind of Bitcoin’s creator. We need a work around. A better form of currency. A way to create an even playing field around the globe, without the interference of large banks and government regulation. It’s the great workaround.

Thinking of Going on a Hike….11 Key Tips Before Venturing Out.
Whenever my family and I travel we always plan a day or two of hiking. Even if we’re in a big city. One of my favorite memories was our trip to California with my 20 year old son, Ryan. He’s getting older and those one on one times are becoming far and few between. I was so happy to have the opportunity to spend a whole day with him. We planned on visiting the Griffith Observatory and hiking the trails of Griffith Park. It was a great day. We ventured on the dusty path meandered our way upwards on a 4 mile hike. Along the way we admired the unique vegetation, and landscape around us. At the top we were greeted with the amazing reward of an unforgettable view of Los Angeles. We connected that day and now we have a cherished memory we won’t forget.
