Once upon a time there was a teeny tiny woman who lived in a teeny tiny house. Oops….no, no, no wrong story.

Once upon time there was a man named Bob. He owned a famous store in Soho called Think Big. This store, the only one of its kind, sold giant pop art. People from all over the world came to purchase Bob’s art. There were giant pencils, crayons, cookies, coffee cups and more. If you needed any kind of oversized pop art item Think Big created it.

One day Bob got tired of creating giant pop art. He decided to make a change and instead of creating oversized art, he would create tiny houses. And instead of being in a city these tiny houses would be in the country. So, he and his daughter Marjorie and granddaughter Melissa created A Tiny House Resort. A Tiny House Resort is located 2 hours from New York City in the Catskill Mountains. On the resort there is a tiny house suitable for anyone who wants to come. If you are traveling alone or with as many as 6 people. All are welcomed to A Tiny House Resort, couples, families and friends, even the dog can come and get away from the big city for a while. ($25.00 one time charge for dogs).

Guests can grill outside and have a nightly fire, while gazing at the stars and roasting marshmallows. They can collect fresh eggs and pick vegetables from the garden. If they need something from the Pantry Shop. They just walk in, pick out what they want and leave the money for the owners to collect.

Everyday the children go on a walk with the resort's goats. Yes, that’s right, the goats take the children for a walk. Not only are their goats but, there are ducks, rabbits and chickens too. Bob says A Tiny Resort will soon be adding miniature sheep to their animal family.

A Tiny House Resort overlooks a babbling creek. Bob believes once you’ve lived overlooking water, you never want to live anywhere else. And I agree with him. There is so much to do on the water. Guests can kayak, raft, go tubing, and fishing. The resort has all the supplies, included in your stay. Or if you want you can just sit, watch, and listen to the sounds of the water as it rushes over the rocky creek bed. There’s a waterfall too at the Tiny House Resort. Many couples have proposed, and taken their vows at this special spot overlooking the waterfall. Weddings are popular at A Tiny House Resort.

There are 11 Tiny Houses at A Tiny House Resort. Each with its own personality. They all have heat, AC, hot and cold running water, wifi, flat screen TVs, kitchenettes (varying in size), showers and toilets. All the comforts of home are in each Tiny House. They’re called tiny but they have full sized beds, and some have couches and seating areas too. All the tiny houses have large windows and offer beautiful views of the surrounding country.

The tiny houses have it all. They each have a deck and outdoor seating with a BBQ and firepit. Bob said next year all the tiny houses will have outdoor showers. Bob, Marjorie and Melissa plan on expanding the resort. They want to welcome more families and couples from the big city to enjoy their tiny houses in the country.

The best thing about A Tiny House Resort is this….if you choose you could hike, swim (there’s a seasonal pool too), fish and boat. In the winter you can ski nearby or snowshoe. Or you don’t have to do any of those things, you can just enjoy the fresh country air, read a book, and listen to nature all around you.

Bob, Marjorie and Melissa have thought of everything. Once your stay has come to an end you can request a late check out and use their onsite cabin before heading back to the big city. Letting you enjoy every minute possible at A Tiny House Resort.

So next time you want a small break from the big city visit A Tiny House Resort.
