Challenge Update: How This Week Went
What I Focused on This Week I decided to work on my story one section at a time. As I'm going along, I have a notebook with a little map that I drew with details about the area. This has been incredibly fun because with each detail, a new layer emerges in my mind.

Days 3 & 4: Setting The Course
Yesterday Was Wild I thought about posting yesterday but it was a heavily emotional day and I decided to hold off. I went through an added my own notes to The Shoppe Keep. I decided that to make the most out of what I wanted to do with the story, adding some layers would serve me well.

Day 2: Hard Questions
How Day 1 Went Some things came up for me while I was working on "The Project". When the idea for this challenge first popped into my head yesterday, I thought, "what if I did a 30 day challenge and focused on a singular project? How cool! I could probably finish it by the end. And what if I did that every month? I would finish so many projects! And what if I sold it for cheap and made so much money, like how In-and-Out burgers are cheap and they make a lot of money. Could I be the In-and-Out of writers???" and so on..

Starting A Personal Challenge
I'm Not Too Proud To Admit Things I can admit that fear holds me back in my writing. From beginning a project to actually finishing one, I always find myself afraid to take the first and last steps. Fear of what, you may ask? Well, when I find out, I'll let you know. Rather than don the hat of the deep-thinking philosopher/therapist/inner monologue interpreter, I've instead decided to tackle my problem differently. Rather than wonder and ruminate on why I'm afraid, I'm switching gears to focus on moving forward despite the fear.

A Secret Ally
Damien did not often venture out into the forest with his father. For the last few weeks, he had begged Elijah to teach him to hunt. Though Damien was rather young for such adventures, Elijah finally consented. By midday, they were quite far from Eldar, a port town on the Eastern shores of Karanthor.

Pisces: The Empath of the Zodiac
The Sun sign in one's natal chart represents vitality, individuality and creative energy. My sun sign is the last of the zodiac calendar. The empathetic Pisces. At best, Pisces are known for their generosity, high emotional intelligence, and creative natures. At worst, Pisces can be impressionable, overly sensitive, and secretive. Even though looking at the whole natal chart gives a much clearer picture of the individual, some people like myself are closely aligned with their Sun sign.

The Mission
It was the middle of the night when they attacked the human town. Bertamuth looked on as he had his followers burn, kill, and loot the town. He scowled. It would be a long day. As General, he need not fight. Just monitor, but, every so often one would try to escape and he would slash them down with his axe or stamp them out with his foot. He did not like violence, but it was in his blood and even he could not deny the stir of excitement as he walked the screams and ash filled the air.

Finding Motivation
Entrepreneurs and artists often experience a different sort of struggle than those who make a living from the beaten path. When you work a “regular” job, you go to a designated place. You’re told what to do. You go home. The groundwork is generally laid out for you and there are many facets of your job that you don’t have to think about. Things like your company’s website, the programs you’re using, where clients are coming from (with the exception of sales), or the cost of the materials you use at your job. The list goes on.
