Highschool in the eighties, in one of the roughest cities in B.C. held the throws of punk rock at its pinnacle. Safety pinned eyebrows, studded leather everything, and mohawks were an everyday experience in the hallways of West Whalley Highschool. The rude interruption of disco had been forcibly stuffed into a locker, where it belonged. The Sex pistols, Vice Squad, The Dead Milkmen,Day Glo abortions,The Misfits, the Ramones, and Skinny Puppy had put it there.

Re-Mommy’d at 45
When I became pregnant at 44, after an end of first trimester miscarriage a year before, my second husband and I were terrified to be happy. Going to the Dr did absolutely nothing to comfort us. I am writing this article today, on our sons 3rd Birthday.

Socio-Malignant Behaviour and it’s aftermath
A long time ago, I read a book called the Celestine Prophecy. I highly recommend it to all human beings. Our current society is riddled with abuse and toxic behaviour. It is a mark of trauma un-healed, or worse completely un-addressed. The can of worms most would prefer to leave on the counter beside the can opener. Better yet, at the very back of the pantry.
