The Mountains
They could not be more apparent if they tried. Relentless on the horizon. You see the mountains take shape from many miles away. My hands start to feel hot and sweaty, and impatience settles into my spirit, at the same time a sense of calm and tranquility floods over me. It is as though I am returning home, to a place I never knew.

Garths Fajarcharp
Garths chest feels like it is about to explode as the thrusters smash past maximum velocity to attempt this fatal landing. The meteor soars past and Garth crashes to the ground, fumbling over himself, bouncing off into space before crashing again into the meteor's surface as it passes by.

Stranded Deep
Day 3 I haven’t managed to sleep much yet. It has been the longest two days of my life. I am so thankful to be alive, everything that has ever happened to me, all the regrets and bad decisions I’ve made over the years, are all becoming very present and real right now.

Bread & Butter
“There are people in the world so hungry, that God cannot appear to them except in the form of bread.” - Mahatma Gandhi There are countless, too many to bring to mind all at once. Cheese and wine, sausage and mustard, tea and scones, coffee and chocolate. Oh how they delight the senses, coat the palette in wonder and leave one satisfied.

What I learned from…Joe Rogan
“Live your life like you’re the hero in your own movie”. – Joe Rogan I didn’t always enjoy company with Joe Rogan. About five years ago, before I had the chance to really listen to him I made up the same idea as many of us had already made up. Who is this jacked, bald, American flag donning UFC douchebag? This was obviously due to my lack of being a grown-up adult and my inability to just sit the fuck down and listen to what someone had to say before I made up my opinion about them.

Going Home
I remember it like it was yesterday. My memories are so vivid I can taste them, I can smell the pine, feel the cold dance across my spine and see in my mind's eye the infinite white, dotted sparsely with brown and green and black, those colors once again splashed with more white.

What I Learned From...Seneca
“True happiness is to enjoy the present, without anxious dependence upon the future, not to amuse ourselves with either hopes or fears but to rest satisfied with what we have, which is sufficient, for he that is so wants nothing. The greatest blessings of mankind are within us and within our reach. A wise man is content with his lot, whatever it may be, without wishing for what he has not.” - Seneca

Garths Fajarcharp
"Sometimes we know in our bones what we really need to do, but we're afraid to do it. Taking a chance and stepping beyond the safety of the world we've always known is the only way to grow, though and without risk there is no reward". - Wil Wheaton
