Stranded Deep
Day 20 I swear at night sometimes I hear someone calling my name softly in the waves. It is freaking me the hell out, I mean, obviously I am going a bit crazy, it's been 20 days now. The marks in the tree that my shelter is propped up against provide me with the only account of what has passed. Otherwise I would have no clue how long it has been.

Day 15 I stare out across the vast endless ocean. My mind has started to calm down now and acclimatize to my surroundings. There is a great peace that can be felt out here, between the moments of loneliness. That will be the next epic hurdle to overcome, loneliness. It’s a fucking disease.

Stranded Deep
Day 9 You might think that being trapped alone on a deserted island in the middle of the ocean, far away from the emails and newsfeeds and social media and grocery shopping and holidays and hangouts, that one would have so much spare time that feelings of insane boredom would creep in and one wouldn’t know what to do with all the hours of the day. This, however, is far from the case.

Day 11 Two minutes fourteen, two minutes fifteen, two minutes sixteen… I had improved a fair amount on my breathing so far moving from around one minute twenty up to a max of two minutes twenty eight seconds. This gave me some strength. The longer I can hold it for the better a position I will be in when I enter the water. On that subject, I made a sneaky little gift for myself using the elastic of my underwear.

Day 5 I draw back my right arm, hand held high, making sure the pointed tip of the rocky shard I’m holding is facing the target. A piece of palm leaf wrapped tight to the rock, hopeful to avoid any accidents. My left-hand holds the nipping crustacean in place, showcasing its soft belly. I murmur a soft thank you for the life and smash the rock into the solar plexus of the underside of the armored creature.
