Dream Down Memory Lane
My eyes opened to white clouds engulfing my whole body. I was weightless, lighter than a feather. I swirled with the wind, suspended in the sky. During my time floating around I was limitless, time non-existent. Until the softest light started to pierce through the middle. The clouds split open, revealing the most beautiful pink and purple master piece of a sky you've ever seen. The moon shone on a heavenly gate, with words carved out in the silver, the gate read "Memory Lane".

The 3 Anxiety Busting Techniques That Helped Me Through 10 Years of Anxiety and Panic Attacks
"If the ocean can calm itself, so can you. We are both salt and water mixed with air." - Nayirah Waheed. One of the biggest challenges when learning to manage any mental health issue, is wading through the seemingly never ending vortex of information in books and on the internet. It’s hard to determine what works, and what doesn't. It takes a lot of trial and error, and can vary from person to person. The process of working it out takes time, but understandably waiting can be very distressing when every day is starting to feel like an uphill struggle.

Postnatal Anxiety: A Raw, Honest Account of How it Happened to Me
"It is known that anxiety disorders are more common in postpartum women than in the general population, with estimates of its incidence during the first 6 months of postpartum ranging from 6.1% to 27.9%. Unfortunately, treatment rates for postpartum anxiety are low, suggesting that more work is required to identify women who may benefit from treatment." -https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5983016/

9 Instagram Accounts That Will Help You Fall in Love with Yourself AgainTop Story - July 2020
The world of social media can feel a little daunting at times can't it? Fancy food, holiday pics, models, super models, more super models. There's a chance when we're sat on the couch with the same Mum bun we've had in for three days; dipping a penguin into a jar of Nutella; whilst surfing the gram; between tackling laundry mountain, it could possibly, make us feel a tad inferior. I'm definitely not using those examples because they're exactly what I'm doing right now as I type this… There's Nutella on my shirt? That's somebody else's Nutella! Don't you look at me like that!

9 Things That I Wasn’t Expecting When I Had an Emergency C-Section
After the gruelling labour of my 9lb 9oz son ended in him being forcibly removed by a nice, Scottish doctor wielding a pair of forceps, I was no stranger to the fact that childbirth doesn't always go to plan. Well prepared that I probably wasn't going to have an easy time, my "birth plan" was simple. Get to the hospital; remain calm; stay upright and active as much as possible; and do everything I could to avoid having a caesarean.

"Enough is Enough": Why I Still Can't Stop Thinking About Caroline FlackTop Story - February 2020
On February 15th a 40 year old woman took her own life. I may not have known her, but she was one of the 7 billion+ humans I share this planet I call home with. She had a life to live, family and friends who loved her, and so much left to add to the shared experience we are all living through. But n0w she's gone. And though I didn't know her, I can't help but feel pangs of genuine anger and sadness.

Positive Affirmations for People Who Use Social Media A Lot
Don't get me wrong, I genuinely believe social media has in many ways been a great thing for mankind. People can share information at the touch of a button like never before, and keep in touch with family and friends in far away corners of the world. Family and friends that, without the availability of social media, they would have completely lost touch with many years ago.

We Are the People Behind the Statistics
We've all seen this iconic moment. The moment Jeremy Corbyn sparked a fire inside the crowds of Wirral Live. But why are the younger generations so passionate about politics anyway? The statistics on the effects of cuts over the past nine years have been shared, and shared and then shared again. But what was it really like growing up in a decade of austerity? With just a day to go until the next general election, I'd like to share my experience.
