What My Eyes Have Seen
I am a recent recipient of a brand new eye. Actually, I just had cataract surgery on October 22, 2018. As of that day, I have been able to see the world much better since I discovered that I had this medical problem since late June to early July.

803
Sometimes, a number is just a number... and sometimes it's not. 803!!!! Prior to the summer of 1972, I was just as significant to me as any other number out there. In other words, it meant nothing at all to me. It had no divine significance whatsoever. It was just good ole 803.

Death Hurts!!!
Way back in my olden days, I managed to pay attention and study one of my favorite writers of all time—Edgar Allan Poe. I have to admit that the only writing I was sort of familiar with was his poem, "The Raven." In short, it spoke of a man who was sitting get in his library one midnight when a crowd flew into his window. Because he was alone and had nothing else on his agenda, he engaged in a make-believe conversation with the bird knowing full well that the only answer would be "nevermore" as he inquired about his lost love, Lenore.

The Super Tweeter!!!
I just remembered something. It just goes to show you just how tired I am. In any case, it involves the POTUS. As we all know, a certain guy in the White House has a huge infatuation with his Twitter account. I am sure that he has many followers, both supporters and non-supporters. I obviously do not know how many supporters he actually has, but I will say, for the sake of my point, that he has one billion followers. The actual number can be higher or lower, but I will use this to make my point.

Divorce!
DIVORCE! It is the dirtiest word in a marriage. Nobody wants to say it and nobody wants to hear it. That is unless you are not either one of the couples getting a divorce. If you are not married, sometimes a divorce can be a good word, a bad word and, on rare occasions, both.

Today is Father's Day. To others, it is just June 17, 2018. To me, it is a day to say HAPPY DADDY'S DAY to the greatest Dad on the planet-mine! Unfortunately, I will be standing at the foot of my parents' grave and telling my Dad to have a Happy Daddy's Day. I have to believe in my heart that he will hear me.

A Most Beautiful Lady
It was a sunny Saturday morning one November. I had many things to do that day. After all, Thanksgiving was less than two weeks away and I had much to do before I could chomp into any turkey on my plate in the coming fortnight. They had to get things done.

Happy Father's Day, Daddy!!!
Before ANYONE says anything on June 17, 2018, allow me to say something very important. Whether you fire up your computer, pick up the phone or even visit (I hope not. I do not like visitors.), PLEASE refrain from saying HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to me. I will not take it very kindly. I am not a Dad in any sense of the word. Sorry. That is something that will get me VERY angry.

The Many Differences Between a Happily Married Man and Me
I just got off the phone with my best friend Bob today. He is a great guy. We chat about many things when we are on the phone. Even though he is in California and I am in New York, I can easily tell by the sound of his voice is that he is very happy. He should be happy. He has a wonderful family because he found a wonderful wife who makes him happy and he makes her happy as well.

The Estrogen vs Testosterone War
If you look back through history, many countries, including my country, the United States, have been involved in many battles in their existence: the Revolutionary War, World War I, World War II, the Mexican-American War, Vietnam, Afghanistan, the Iraqi War, the Korean War, and many other famous battles that I have not listed.
