Three of the Scariest Movies I Have Ever Seen
When I think of the word HORROR, I think of two things. I will either think of my all-time worst girlfriend or the three best horror films I have ever seen in my entire life. Relax! I promise not to tell you about the girlfriend, but we will talk about the movies.

Car, Van, or SUV?Top Story - May 2018
I love cars and vans and SUVs. They have been burned into my brain since I was knee-high to a grape. Strange enough, I've had many cars—two vans and only one SUV. Enough about me. What about YOU? What would you prefer to drive? Let's examine the case for each.

Saturday!!!! My Saturday!!!
As everyone already knows, there are seven days in a week. In a normal person's life, those days might be divided into three categories: work, personal, and reverence. For me, they were divided the same way. Mondays to Fridays were fine. When I got to a Monday, I couldn't wait for a Friday. After Friday came MY day. SATURDAY!

Am I That Hideous and Repulsive?
It seems that whenever I need to think or clear my head, the best thing for me to do is hop in my car and just drive aimlessly. By that, I meant that I don't have any particular destination, but I would like to get anywhere very safely. It is just the fact that my 1992 Jeep Cherokee has become my rolling think tank.

Married Couples Are So Lucky!
As I am writing this, I am looking at the royal wedding of Prince Harry and his beautiful bride Princess Meghan. All the media has prepared and televised the event. I can clearly see that both bride and groom are ecstatic with each other as well as they should be. Even though I do not know either of them, I am very happy for them. I wish them well.

The Ways I Deal With My Depression
I have reached a stage in my life that I would not even wish upon my best or worst enemy. I am 62 and I am going through changes that I never imagined in my entire life. Some can be dealt with while the majority of them cannot. Most of them are the result of my earlier decisions while the rest are the results of things way beyond my control. No matter how I look at it, I must deal with them.....alone.

Courage!
COURAGE!!! Some people have it and most of us don't. What is courage? According to Wikipedia, "Courage (also called bravery or valour) is the choice and willingness to confront agony, pain, danger, uncertainty, or intimidation. Physical courage is bravery in the face of physical pain, hardship, death or threat of death, while moral courage is the ability to act rightly in the face of popular opposition, shame, scandal, discouragement, or personal loss. The classical virtue of fortitude (andreia, fortitudo) is also translated 'courage', but includes the aspects of perseverance and patience." That is the denotation and some connotation of the word COURAGE.

Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!
"Take my wife! PLEASE!!!!" – Henny Youngman Comedy. It is sorely missing in the world today. It was honestly the first reaction I can remember. I remember laughing as a child, laughing as a teenager, laughing as a young adult, but not laughing so much as a senior citizen. Laughing seems to be an art form from the past. It used to be pure and plentiful. Now, it is, at times, rare and even raunchy. So, where are the truly funny people?

Confession of a Teetotaler
I am a weirdo!!! I just realized that wasn't a great way to open up because my friends already know that I am a weirdo. This is nothing new to them. What I meant to say is that I have a strange habit...Oops! They know that, too. Let me just come out and say it: I am a confirmed teetotaler.

Let's Celebrate Parents' Day!
Today, as I was driving home from church, I began to think about my plans for Mothers' Day. For me, it would involve a trip to the local cemetery where mine is buried just to give her my wishes in person. I'd only have to go back the next month, June, in order to return to the same grave to give my Dad his wishes as well on Fathers' Day. Without a question, both days are going to be extremely difficult.
