It is true that global and personal issues can affect one’s health – physical, mental, and spiritual. Yes, 2020 was a stressful year for many of us. To me, the year was also terrifying as we proceeded to 2021. I did not know what to expect every single day. I had no clue if 2021 was going to be better or worse. Even though I tried to courageously live my life, I had difficulty eliminating the fear within me.

Should Have Watched It With My DadTop Story - September 2021
When I was incredibly young, I never understood why fathers watch sports. I have seen them in movies and on television shows. There is usually a father who is into sports. Of course, my dad (God bless his soul) had always been a huge fan of sports – especially football, boxing, and basketball. I am sure he watched other sports on television as well, but those were the three main sports I had always caught him watching.

A Narf Knows That Everyone Has a Purpose
Fantasy books and movies have charmed millions, if not billions, of fans with their exceptionally creative stories for decades. Even fans who enjoy other genres more would find fantasy stories very entertaining. After all, different fantasy stories include elements of magic, supernatural beings, otherworldly places, fairy tales, and even superheroes – not necessarily D.C. Comics nor Marvel, of course. Whether these were bedtime stories or not, I am sure there are fanatics who have fantasies about studying at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, dancing with the Goblin King at a ball, flying a T-16 Skyhopper, or even falling in love with a sparkling vampire. There are countless imaginary worlds that meet our preferences.

Dinner With An Alien
Tommy Hammond was a 22-year-old artist from Sedona, Arizona. He lived in a contemporary style house with his parents, two older brothers, a younger sister, and his golden retriever named Hawk. He was single, and he had always been so shy around women. Even though he was no longer a virgin, he strongly believed that he could never find the perfect woman – one who would understand him and love his work.

The Descendant of Gaia
Now, it was all up to me. As blood-thirsty demons were roaming our beloved planet Earth, I had the option to either let these hellish creatures devour humankind. However, my second option was to destroy every single human being and the malevolent, malicious demons. I must say – that option was highly tempting. Either way, every person would die. The humans would be no more…for now, perhaps.

The Last Girl
It was March of 2022. Humans were wiped out on the planet Earth due to the D-Virus. It has been six months since the D-Virus emerged and became the deadliest virus known to man. The virus was extremely airborne, and a fleshing-eating disease was caused by this deadly virus. As a result, the human body would experience severe deterioration. Once infected, a fever would be the first symptom to experience. Followed by painful paroxysmal coughs, vomiting, and then fatigue. Within a weak, the tissue would slowly be destroyed under the skin. A human would have only a few weeks to survive. By that time, the spread of the deterioration would lead to the infected turning into skeletons. Unfortunately, there was no cure. A cure was not created in time to prevent the termination of the human race. Majority knew that there was no cure and that their close death was inevitable. Some would position themselves next to their loved ones on beds and couches when they felt that their organs were slowly shutting down. It was their way to have family and friends die together. Others would end their lives before their physical conditions worsen. Some would even move themselves to the ocean in order for their skeletal remains to hide deeper in the sea. In addition to that, animals were immune to the virus.

Ban Ban Asian Bistro
I prefer a restaurant with different flavors. What I mean by different flavors is a variety of dishes from many countries. I am aware that there are restaurants like that out there, but not many I have come across. When I go to Chinese buffets, there would be the usual Chinese dishes, a few selections of Sushi, and even fewer selections of American food. Sure, I enjoy eating at a Chinese buffet on a Saturday night. However, I get bored with the same dishes I see every single time I dine at one. It has been that way for many years.

Merlot Over Blood
It was fall of 2031. Humans lived in a world where they can coexist with vampires and werewolves. The appearance of a vampire included pale skin and bright red eyes in addition to sharp, one-inch fangs. A werewolf would have a widow’s peak and bright yellow eyes. Anger would transform them into full werewolf mode with fuller and thicker body hair and large pointy teeth. All species had to follow a law that said that one shall not attack nor kill another specie unless it was out of self-defense.

Confessions Of A Book Collector
I used to work at a thrift store, and I must say that I have always been so fascinated by the items that people donated. I worked in the e-Commerce department where I would list items that would potentially make a lot of money on eBay. I have seen a lot of items I never knew I would come across in real life. I have seen rare trading cards. I have seen vintage wardrobes and jewelry. I have seen gorgeous antiques. I have seen pure gold coins worth at least five thousand dollars. I have seen huge, bizarre paintings. I have seen military attires from major wars. I have seen an old family album with actual pictures from the early 1900s. I came across so many different objects that I want to say that I have seen them all, but I know I have not.
