Three Little Piglets; and ONE Big Bad Wolf
Claudia had lunch plans for the day. She much preferred her midday retreat plans to be opposite the campus stud. However, times had changed and, today, the university soccer star had to meet with Ginny Myles, one of the campus cheerleaders, and Sara Mason, a simple college sophomore. On a smaller scale, this did have something to do with Jackson Tanner, the campus stud in question. It was little consolation to Claudia as she took a seat in the campus cafeteria across from the other two girls. As soon as Sara saw her, her eyes almost bulged out of her skull.

Tales of a 4th Grade Nothing
"Tales of a 4th Grade Nothing" (I think) kicked off Judy Blume's popular "Fudge" books (It kicked off the franchise for me at least; and prompted me to, to this day, go back and reread "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing," "Superfudge," and, lastly, "Fudge-a-Mania." I never got into "Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great" and, therefore, don't know where it would fall in the sequence of the canon).

Sun & SandTop Story - August 2023
Evan Forrester stalked up the beach and to the beachside bar at least six steps ahead of Katie. This left plenty of room for people to not believe that they were a pair and those people innocently cut in between the two people as groups either made their ways back to the beach or up to the bar as well. A few of them were kind enough to mumble “excuse me” or “pardon me.” No one hung back and allowed her to catch back up with Evan; no one knew about the infractions that they were committing. No; it was the young group of college aged males who knowingly and indiscreetly stared at her to size her up that really bothered the brunette beauty. Had it been in her nature, she might have flipped them off. Today, she was dangerously close to that being in her nature.

Digital
PROLOGUE: DATING AND WAITING 11:20. That’s what the digital readout on the wall clock in the Digital Café, a local coffee hangout for the eclectic mix of students at Great Ridge State University, said. Brian Kenley fruitlessly compared his phone with the digital, satellite clock. Of course the times still matched up; just like the previous three times he had checked them. Ashlie Hahn had agreed to meet him at 10:45 for “just coffee;” this would be the make-up “of-course-NOT-a-date” after the three previous casual attempts to meet with one another. Like a fool, Brian always believed in her and had an excuse all set for her absence. Once the god of his mother’s understanding set a female peer with a pretty face and a great set of…x chromosomes…in front of Brian, all of the rules of his judgment of character were null and void. As for Ashlie, he had been determined that she was the prettiest face to ever cross his path ever since beginning his second semester at Great Ridge State. It was partially evident, even to him, where his ability to read a person’s character had left off when it came to Ashlie.

The Dividing Lines
Ciara and Aris were sisters; daughters of Landros, the Strong. As family, the two sisters were very different from one another; and couldn't have been further apart from their father. Ciara moved as swiftly and quietly as the flowing waters along the ground; Aris could soar through the skies as though the wind carried her. Neither of the sisters could match their father in strength; and their father, stoic, strong, and impenetrable in his movements, was not nearly as sly and sneaky as his daughters. Theirs was a family affair where the God of Strength vowed to protect his daughters; and his daughters, now in their teenage years, schemed to sneak about in all of their silence.

A Page in Romance.
"...Sir Ulrich of Stalzark; Sir ULRICH of STALZARK!" The rugged and whiskered Sir Ulrich glanced about as the sunlight cascaded off of his freshly polished knight's armor. The sudden sound of his name prompted the respected knight to reach for his freshly engraved longsword.
