Lend Me Your Sight

Eyeglasses, Eyeglasses, lend me your sight.

Eyeglasses, Eyeglasses, help me see the light.

Improve my vision of things from afar,

These distorted visuals from people to cars.

Help me to get around safely outdoors,

When I can more easily see what I walk towards.

Without your help, I'm a stumbling man

Knocking into things, too clumsy to stand.

I can just barely read words in front of my face,

Without your help, your unwavering aid.

Eyeglasses, Eyeglasses lend me your sight.

Help this poor "four-eyes" to better see the light.

Without you, hey maybe, I look a little less "cool;"

But I'm pushing 39; so what's cool got to do?

Eyeglasses, eyeglasses, you're a part of me;

Oh yeah; you're the part that allows me to see...
