5 Ways To Shut Up A Bully
It's been my experience that bullies can't survive without a target. Either they need to find someone else, or they'll stop bullying altogether. I am writing this article to share with you five ways that I have found to shut up a bully. These are not my original ideas, but rather come from a variety of sources.

Relationship Boundaries
During a conversation with a friend the other day, the subject of boundaries and expectations in relationships came up. This of course is a subject that I have gone over and over in my own mind for years because though I understand the need, it wasn't until recently that I admitted my own. Whether due to shame from childhood traumas and lessons, or the PTSD I struggle with from my most recent nightmare of a marriage, it has taken until now for me to realize who I am and what I deserve.

I'm Done Dating Until I'm 50
I've decided I am finished dating until I am 50. This is, and at the same time, is not a pleasant thought, but it is what it is. I have made this decision because it's not only the responsible thing to do but after a lot of discussions with my daughter, her life is already confusing enough without me adding a stranger into the mix. The circumstances revolving around her being from a broken home are traumatic enough, not to mention the trauma it caused me on a personal level. Trauma I have since turned into a strength, but trauma nonetheless.

Blood of The Wolf Vol 4
Michael’s eyes fluttered open, feeling like he had just awoken from a long dream. He would have thought it was a dream if it were not for all the memories of everything he had learned, that, and the fact that when he ran his tongue across his teeth he felt fangs where his canines used to be. He was lying in a hospital bed and he had straps holding down his arms and legs. When he looked around the room to see if there was anyone else with him he saw his mother asleep in the recliner next to his bed.

Salem Rising Vol 3
The next morning Jacob and Jonah sat at the table eating breakfast. Neither one of them would look at or even speak to one another. Isaac burst through the door out of breath like he had run all the way from the village. Jonah looked over at him, but all Jacob did was shake his head.

An Argument For Anal
You might view this article as opinionated, satirical, or a well-researched piece on historical facts that back up my stance on a certain hot button issue. What it isn't, is me trying to sway you one way or another. I have come to learn that people are going to do what they are going to do on their path through life as they evolve and learn right from wrong. Though I am pro-life except in extreme circumstances, I respect your right to make the choices you do no matter how misguided or immoral I may find them. The beauty of this great big beautiful pile of dirt that we all ride on while it hurtles through space is just that; it's huge and I don't have to associate with you if I don't want to. There's plenty of room for everyone to go about their day and never meet someone again if we so choose.

Blood of The Wolf Vol 3
They ran for at least 10 blocks before Lisa and Alan begged Michael to stop so they could catch their breath. Alan took off his shirt and wiped away the blood. The rain that had started falling before the massacre helped to wash it away. Michael’s body was still racked in pain but it was only driving him further. He could still feel his muscles twisting and turning under the surface of his skin. Lisa noticed Michael wasn’t doing too well.

Stay Out of The Victim Pool
Think of life as a giant swimming pool. You've got your expert swimmers, your weekend waders, those that are learning, those that are drowning or struggling to tread water, and that one little prick that keeps trying to dunk everyone under. Your victims in life fall under the struggling to tread water or drowning category. These are the people that know little to nothing on how to succeed at what they are going for. They know that if they were to kick their way over to the side and cling to the wall or move to a more shallow end of the pool, they would do better, be in less danger, and probably have a little fun in the process. They might even find someone willing to teach them if they asked around and were committed enough.

Salem Rising Vol 2
As Jacob and Jonah entered the town, they noticed something was off about the atmosphere. Townspeople were whispering to each other and discretely pointing at folks that hadn’t been in town long as if they were trying to solve some sort of mystery. Jonah looked over at Jacob with an expression that voiced how strange he thought people were acting.

The Reality of Broken People,
I just got back from dropping off my former father-in-law at my exes house, so he can visit with my daughter. Our topic of discussion on the drive over veered toward the same topic it often does when we're together. Why his daughter, my ex, is the way she is and how she is destroying her life while alienating all the good influences around her.

Salem Rising
Everyone was sitting around the table holding hands. The room was dimly lit with flickering candlelight. Sarah and Mary kept looking at each other trying not to giggle, while Isaac attempted to conduct a seance. Jacob and Jonah kept rolling their eyes because they knew he didn’t know what he was doing. Despite the distractions in the room Isaac managed to center himself, and he began to read from the book that was in front of him.
