Why I Believe the Extreme Left & Extreme Right are Similar
This will be more of a rant and I may end up jumping around a lot so forgive me but in my opinion there really is not much difference between the extreme left and the extreme right in the way they vilify anyone that disagrees with them and their authoritarian nature. Sure they have separate agendas but they go about forcing their agendas in the same way as well as accuse the other side of doing what they do. Both sides think they are right and the other side is evil and as you read this and you think I am pointing to a particular ideology than I am actually talking about you. I may talk a bit about Republicans and Democrats though. Remember, Republicans have no heart and Democrats have no brain.

Science: TV & Movies vs. Reality
Many people think they are experts on science because of what they see on TV and movies. Whenever they hear about research being done by a real life science they will have to behave as if they know more than the researcher because they saw that particular experiment fail or something horrible happen. With the Hadron Collider people actually believed portals will open and monsters will show up or it would form a black hole destroying the world. Creationist and flat-earthers are laughable but think they know more about science than scientist but they will never try to disprove a scientific theory, (assuming they even know what a scientific theory is) and get a Nobel Prize, money and other awards. Scientists would love to be disproven since it means more money for research meaning more jobs. Again as I put in many of these articles, here is a fantastic video to help you understand what a scientific theory is by Hank Green: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqk3TKuGNBA People have been wrongfully been convicted by DNA evidence because people believe more what they see on TV than the experts on the witness stand. These same people don't mind increase our already bloated military budget but will scream to high heaven if we put more more money into research, science and education.

Is College Worth It?
Many people once dreamed of getting a higher education by going to college or University but now we all see these these institutions don't actually provide their students with much of a future. These places offer worthless majors without telling their students they are worthless and I am not just talking about things like women's studies. There are plenty of STEM majors that will get you a poor return. It would be great if our government passed a law requiring colleges and universities to provide data about how much in demand a particular major is and how much you can expect to get paid when you first start, not the average salary since that will just inflate the pay. Imagine you are some idiot like me who gets a degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry as well as taking tons of medical courses such as Immunology, Pathology, Embryology and more only to barely be able to find a job that pays very poorly because many STEM jobs requiring you to be a post doc with 10 years of experience and will pay $35,000 a year. I had hoped to go to Medical School but that didn't happen. If it wasn't for their 400 year reputation (which they have destroyed) and large sums of money they would just be a 5th rate University. Ivy league universities are were rich kids that never have to work get together to make connections and after they graduate make laws that effects those of us that are not rich and have to work. They are trash in my humble opinion.

Why Would Any Man Get Married
Let me ask you a few questions and these are only important if you are a man. One day you decide to get on a plane and the pilot gets on the intercom and tells everyone that the plane has a 70% chance of crashing would you stay on that plane? Suppose you are about to get into a business agreement with a company for goods and services and you have to sign a contract were you must pay every month but that business can pull out and longer provide and goods or services but you still have to pay a monthly fee, would you sign such a contract? Would you place a bet if you had a 50-70% chance of losing everything? If you answered no to these questions you should know that is what you are doing in marriage. Marriages are more likely to fail and if you are a man you can expect to give up your house, retirement savings, property and anything else that brings you joy. Remember that marriage and divorce is like a retirement plan for women. You can also forget about seeing your kids or you may rarely get to see them. Even with a court order to see your kids your ex spouse can keep them from you and the police will back them up. Look it up if you don't believe me. Before anyone starts bashing women let's get one thing straight and that is if divorce courts supported men they way they support women than men would be just as cruel. By the way marriage isn't good for women either since many times they become their husband's mother having to clean and cook for him. Both men and women deal with abuse.

Colleges and Universities Should Prepare for a Possible Trump Win
Before I begin I want to state I in no way endorse Trump but I do believe he will win the 2024 election. When Trump won in 2016 college students were crying, holding stuffed animals, hiding under desks and their beds and throwing a tantrum. They may not go as far as the MAGA people did on January 6 but who knows. I will give some ways I hope colleges and Universities are preparing.

Your Coworkers, Boss and the HR Department are not Your Friends
I am going to tell you and explain to you something I hope you already know and that your coworkers, boss and the HR department are not your friends. If you are on any social media they and the the company you work for should be blocked (look up how to block them if you don't know) and set your profile to private. If you are using social media to make money never use your real name or give bread crumbs (information such as date of birth, high school you graduated from, etc.).

Some Tips On Spotting Misinformation
Sadly scientific misinformation is all around us and remember when the media tells you that scientists are baffled, surprised or any such headlines they are almost always lying or misleading you. Many times when you read the article these people are referencing you will find out the articles says the complete opposite or nothing they claim. This happens with all news outlets and this is why you get conflicting claims. These hack journalist only want the story and do not care about getting the facts correct or the harm they do to people's trust of science. This reminds me of the TV, The Incredible Hulk, were the reporter Mr. McGee relentlessly tracks the Hulk not even thinking about the damage he is doing to David Banner, who becomes the Hulk. David could have cured himself many times if it wasn't for Mr. McGee and it was Mr. McGee that killed David's partner. In the pilot Mr. McGee is hiding in the flammable closet with flammable chemicals when David and his colleague show up and Mr. Gee knocks over a compound that eventually reacts with other compounds causing the huge explosion. Mr. McGee believes the Hulk did it when if he brought it to trial it would not be hard to determine with forensics and David's testimony that Mr. McGee was indeed guilty. You may ask want was the point of all this and I will tell you. The media reads or hears about a study without knowing all the facts or interviews a scientist and then just publishes their article or get on TV without the facts. They will also misrepresent per-reviewed articles which you see a lot with creationists and Covid conspiracy people.

Can Adults Play Video Games
A question some people may ask is can adults play video games. I have seen elderly people play games because they say it keeps their mind sharp. Games improve memory, hand and eye coordination and much more. Some people say it's a time waster but what hobby isn't. I enjoy playing games around 3 to 4 hours a week in addition to weight lifting, MMA (mixed martial arts) , reading and learning new things. You could say watching football is a waste of time or watching any sport and that spending money to attend these games or going to a concert is a waste of money but in the end no one has the right to tell you what you can or can't do with your time and money. They also can't tell you what to like or dislike. In a sense all hobbies are a time waster but only if you don't enjoy them. Some people think you should be focused only on work and family. They forget their are families that play games together and not all of us have families. If you look like me you or have my lack of money, you are not having a family.

The Pros and Cons of Both Physical and Digital Media
Today you can get a physical or digital copy of games and movies. As for many movies and TV shows you also have the option of streaming. In my opinion there is just nothing like having a physical copy of games, movies and TV shows. It helps that there are very few TV shows I actual care enough about t own and the same with movies. Games are different but I rather have a physical copy.

Why I am Glad To Have My Own Gym
Time for another article why I am glad to have my own home gym. It took me nearly 15 years to get all the weights and equipment I needed and I am grateful to have the space for it all. I would never go to a public gym and not just because of my social anxiety. Gyms today are nothing more than studios for fitness influencers and others. They behave as if they own the public gym and will shame someone for walking past their beloved camera. Nothing wrong with filming yourself to make sure you have proper form or to place on social media but people need to realize that they are in a public space. If someone does not want to be recorded than stop recording. What makes this worse is you have freaks recording or taking pictures in the restroom and they will have others, basically naked or completely naked, in their shot and make fun of them. This is illegal and people need to start pressing charges so the perpetrator has to reregister as a sex offender for the rest of their lives. They are willing to humiliate others for likes and attention so let them get that attention from Bubba and Tyrone in prison.
