'The Miseducation of Cameron Post' Review - Warning: Contains Spoilers
I recently saw this film and was pleasantly surprised at its fearlessness with exposing the harmful teachings of some Christian denominations who believe homosexuality is a sin. The film pays careful attention to each of its characters, with protagonist Cameron Post being the central observer to what is happening to those around her and herself.

'BlacKkKlansman' Review—Warning: Contains Minor Spoilers
I watched BlacKkKlansman this Tuesday and walked out onto the carpets of the cinema foyer feeling tears prickling in my eyes. It was a dramatic change from the tone that had been felt throughout the cinema for most of the film, the audience laughing away at some of the hilarious lines that were delivered in Spike Lee's comedic yet powerful depiction of the ongoing struggle black Americans face.

12 Indie Teen Movies that Are Perfect for a Girls' Night in
'The Breakfast Club' (1985) John Hughes's high school classic The Breakfast Club hugely influenced American teen movies and to this day it still manages to capture the hearts of those who watch it. Five characters who reflect each high-school stereotype—a brain, an athlete, a basket case, a princess, and a criminal—find themselves spending a day-long detention together on a Saturday, and as the day goes on they begin to learn more about each other and learn that there is more than meets the eye in regards to how they are labelled. The chemistry between these characters will take you on a journey that is funny, thought-provoking, and heart-wrenching, and this is what makes it a teen comedy drama that you and your girlfriends will never forget.

Upcoming Indie Films You Definitely Need To See
The Miseducation Of Cameron Post (FilmRise, August 2018 (US), September 2018 (UK)) The Miseducation of Cameron Post is a drama based off the 2012 novel of the same title by Emily M. Danforth. Kick-Ass and Carrie's Chloë Grace Moretz stars as Cameron, a teenager who is discovering and exploring her homosexuality in a conservative town that doesn't understand. The plot of the movie will stir a sense of deja-vu if you're a fan of the 1999 hit But I'm A Cheerleader; after being found with the Prom Queen the main character gets shipped off to participate in Christian conversion therapy and befriends others who are also being told their sexuality is a sin. This is an indie that is set to be a hit and has received praise from Sundance for its wry sense of humour and criticism of gay conversion therapy. It hits the big screens in the US on 3rd August and premieres in the UK on 7th September.

Trinket boxes, tiny chests and jewellery racks not only act as places to store all your bits and bobs — they also give an organic and sophisticated edge to any room.
