1. The word 'tethered' is significant right from the start. Source: Slashfilm You may have missed it, but the word "tether" was actually used in the "Hands Across America" commercial right at the beginning - during the video the narrator says "6 million people will tether themselves together to fight hunger in the US." A nod at what's to come.

15 New Indie Films You Need to See in 2019
'State Like Sleep' (January 2019, The Orchard) Written and directed by Meredith Danluck, State Like Sleep is a mystery/thriller which first premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in April 2018. The film follows female protagonist Katherine, played by Inherent Vice star Katherine Waterston, as she is forced to dig up the past and unravel the sequence of events that lead up to the death of her famous husband. Waterston is accompanied by an all-star cast including Michael Shannon and Luke Evans. The film is being distributed by The Orchard and can be seen at US cinemas from January 4.

'We the Coyotes' Review
On Sunday 30, September I went to London to attend my first-ever film festival, The Raindance Film Festival. I enjoyed it thoroughly with it being the UK's biggest independent film festival, and whilst I was there I was privileged to watch the premiere of Hanna Ladoul and Marco La Via's fantastic film We The Coyotes.
