It's No Walk in the Park
**Read with caution. This is just my opinion on the movies. This may contain some spoilers** I have always been extremely fond of the movie series Jurassic Park. I remember having nightmares as a child about velociraptors breaking into our house and eating us. What can I say? I was young and impressionable back then when I first watched them as a small child. I have grown fond of binge-watching the series. I can even recite lines from the movie The Lost World.

Chips & Dip
"Food tastes better when you eat it with your family." I'm not really one to be posting recipes on Vocal. But, I really do love me some chips and dip. It has always been one of my favourite snacks. I know this is meant to be a post about summer, but every fond memory of summer that I have, includes dip being a part of it. Mmm, dip!

At Least I Have This
It was quite a feat, the sinking of the Titanic. The Unsinkable ship she was called by so many people. It was April 15, 1912, in the wee hours of the morning and the Titanic had just sunk. Dazed and confused, I sat upon a lifeboat with about 20 other passengers or so. I was six months pregnant with my first child. My husband Clark, was not with me. The last I had seen of him, was from aboard that very ship that had just sunk into the icy waters below. He had placed a kiss firmly on my lips before we departed, as if to say, 'I'll see you soon'.
