Poster Child for Depression
Have you ever been the poster child for depression? I have. It was not a very pleasant time of my life. Nobody likes you when you're depressed. It's a hard truth but it is there and it is very real. And this pandemic has not been easy for anyone.

Return to 2015
Ah, high school. How I miss those simpler days. I can still smell the fresh printer paper and the whiteboard markers. I remember those days, when my biggest problems seemed to be studying for exams and dealing with petty gossip between my friends. I miss those angsty days. I really do. Going back through my Spotify, I found a whole bunch of songs from back in the good old days.

Open When
I hope that you find this post when you're lonely and in need of a friend. There are so many beautiful ways to express your love for someone. Writing is one of them. There is so much power behind words and I have always loved that. You can gently caress someone with loving words or cut them very deeply.

Twenty-Five Dollars
Oh man, do I ever have a story to tell about my cat named Steve. We always had a strict no-pet policy growing up. Gerbil? Nope. Cat? Nope. Dog? Nope. We did have a few pet fish in a large tank for a while until they all somehow mysteriously died. My stepfather was not a fan of animals unless they could be outside on the farm.

How Nintendo Saved My LifeTop Story - April 2021
Growing up as a child, I was always fascinated with Nintendo, specifically the Legend of Zelda franchise. I've always loved the storyline behind video game plots. In my childlike mind, I used to compare it to a high-quality movie that you could control. I started gaming out young, sitting beside my mother as she would play different games on our good ole trustworthy GameCube such as Harvest Moon, Final Fantasy, and The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. I loved watching my mom play her video games in the late quiet of the night.

Musings of a Recently Single Mother
Why is dating a single mom considered to be an achievement for some men? Just because a woman has children, she is automatically seen as a caregiver, or wifey material which does not make sense to me. I even chose to ask a male friend of mine about this.
