Dead Leaves
A poem about autumn leaves
Crunch, the leaves go beneath my feet.
As I walk down the shady, sycamore street.
Isn't it so lovely to see the seasons change?
Colours change with a wide range.
From light green to a pale yellow.
During fall things seem so mellow.
Brilliant orange to an auburn red.
The trees shed their leaves with a wide spread.
Littering the streets till they slowly die.
Turning into a murky dark-brown, you can wave those beautiful fall colours goodbye.
As the seasons change and the leaves turn,
Take some advice from the trees as we have lots to learn.
How wonderful can it be to for us to start blooming again next season.
Believe me, it inspired me beyond reason.
How wonderful can it be to fall.
