My Review of "Critical Thinking"
Critical thinking is yet another chess film out that came out in 2020. This time it's a movie not a TV series. The timing is absolutely perfect since The Queen's Gambit TV show was a real hit for Netflix recently. Since the TV series was a fictional story I thought for sure a story based on true events should be even better. In some ways it is and in some ways it isn't.

My Review of "Tiger"
Tiger is a 2 part TV special that came out recently. It's an HBO sports special when there's not a lot of sports being played on TV. That's why I think this was probably the perfect time for this show to be aired. We all know who Tiger Woods is and we've all probably remember a lot of the crazy stories about his life. This series goes a little deeper and connects all the dots.

My Review of "The Sopranos: Season One"
The Sopranos: Season One came out back in 1999. It used to be one of the most talked about TV series out in the early 2000s. I remember people talking about this show as if it was Game of Thrones back in the day. Incidentally both shows are HBO exclusive titles.

My Review of "Disenchantment: Season 3"
Disenchantment: Season 3 took forever to come out. I found that this series really found its legs in the second season. If you trudged through the first season of the series you'll be handsomely rewarded with the second season. That's why I was really looking forward to the third season of the series. Coming off of the high of the second season I was looking forward to the same quality material.

My Review of "Finding Ohana"
Finding Ohana is a typical treasure hunting family film that's written to appease a general audience. There's much to like in this innocent take on treasure hunting. Not only does it have you some wholesome fun but it delivers a nice message. The answer to the problems they face aren't quite as easy as they make them out in this movie but it's a movie so don't judge them too harshly. They had to put a lot into a 2 hour timespan.

My Review of "Godmothered"
Godmothered was a late 2020 entry for Disney Plus. It was released around the Christmas holidays but I never got around to watching it until now. It fits a lot of Disney tropes that you're familiar with but with a modern twist. I'm seeing more and more of this from the company. This gives the giant company new ways of telling similar tales from the past.

My Review of the Canon M50
I bought my Canon M50 in 2019. I didn't know how far it would take me in my video journey. Yes of course this camera takes good images as well but I mainly bought it for making videos. From that time forward I never looked back at my older equipment and even when I've recently upgraded I find that I still use this trusty tool.

My Review of "The White Tiger"
The White Tiger is Netflix's latest 2021 film that they've just released. They seem to be hitting some homeruns as of late and killing the competition as they're not releasing anything to take the hype away. I hope they continue to keep this upwards momentum. In the meantime let's talk about this latest new release from the streaming giant.

My Review of "Greed"
Greed is a little known movie that came out in 2019. I'm sure the subject matter was a bit much for some but it's nevertheless true in some ways. Within the message of the movie however is a crazy fictional story that is almost as interesting as the message they are trying to convey.

My Review of "The Bling Empire"
The Bling Empire is a reality TV series that was just released recently in 2021. I'm not a big fan of reality TV shows except if they're for competition. Usually I can identify with competition reality shows because there's real people trying to win some sort of prize. I would kind of categorize these shows more as grand game shows rather than reality TV. This TV show is full on reality TV where it's following the lives of certain individuals. I have never gotten into anything of this sort.

My Review of "Outside the Wire"
Outside the Wire is one of Netflix's newest movies in 2021. This is from the company's promise that they will have a new movie for each week of 2021. There's some nice ideas in this movie but ultimately it feels more like I'm watching a video game's cutscenes all woven together.

My Review of "Locked Down"
Locked Down is one of the newest movies of 2021 to explain our 2020 experience. It's one of the few big releases from HBO Max. In a sense the antics and realities in this movie feel all too real but that's part of the problem. We're still in lockdown and we kind of don't really want to be reminded that we're in lockdown if we're trying to escape into some fantasy. Or maybe the execution of this movie was far from what I was expecting.
