My Review of "Coming 2 America"
Coming 2 America is the sequel we never thought would ever come. I think they ended the first movie pretty well that they didn't really need another one but why not? We're doing this with a lot of other movie nowadays. This isn't necessarily a bad thing either though. Fans of the first movie should enjoy this movie but I'm not entirely sure how many people continually watch the original to understand all the references in this movie.

My Review of "WandaVision: Season 1"
WandaVision: Season 1 came out quite surprisingly in early 2021. Not a lot was known about this series and it came abruptly since it was very quiet on the Marvel Universe front for quite a while. This series helped satiate a lot of Marvel fan's appetite for new content. Again the series was kept under secrecy so no one really knew what was going to happen.

My Review of "The Sopranos: Season 2"
The Sopranos: Season 2 comes off a stellar first season. That's usually the case when it comes to fantastic first seasons. Well there are the odd exceptions like the Heroes franchise. There's a sense of quality that comes with HBO shows that I can't really put my finger on and this one is another great show.

My Review of "Irresistible"
Irresistible is a political comedy that was released in 2020. There wasn't a lot of fanfare for this movie as it came out during the whole lockdown. It's too bad because I think this movie might surprise some people. They have a lot of messages in this movie that were pretty interesting and very truthful in a way.

My Review of "Signs"
Signs came out back in 2002. It was probably at the height of M. Night Shyamalan's popularity in the early 2000's. I have to say I was one of the few people that actually really liked this movie when it first came out. There was a lot to like it and I was curious if I would have the same reaction watching this movie almost 20 years later.

The Social Inequalities of Pandemic Rules
I realize that every country has different rules and regulations concerning the way they deal with the pandemic. We can't base one countries methods based on another. This story popped into my head when I noticed an innocent new rule taken place in my hometown.

My Review of "Someone Marry Barry"
Someone Marry Barry came out back in 2014. That's only 7 years ago and yet some of the dialogue in this movie seems vastly outdated. I could have swore I was watching a movie from the early 2000s but it was more recent than that. It's a shock to see how much society has changed in such a short period of time. That's not to say this movie wasn't entertaining to watch though. If you can handle some of the not so politically correct dialogue you may enjoy this.

My Review of "Gemini Man"
Gemini Man is one of the last blockbuster movies that came out back in 2019. It made a big controversy when it was released at 48 frames per second in the theatres. Not a lot of people were too pleased with this but now I'm curious as to how it might have looked in that frame rate after streaming the movie.

My Review of "Then Came You"
Then Came You came out quietly back in 2020. It's a romantic comedy set in Scotland. The two leads in this movie are of an older generation. This gives us a very different perspective in the romantic comedy genre. Some of the jokes may go over the heads of some of some generations because there are references to older movies in this movie that only some will understand.

My Review of "The Map of Tiny Perfect Things"
The Map of Tiny Perfect Things is the latest movie that's come out exclusively on Amazon Prime in 2021. That's a great thing because we're pretty starved for new movie content in 2021. We're still awaiting all of the Warner Brother releases to come out on HBO. In the meantime, we're happy to watch pretty much anything to come out by big studios.

My Review of "Critical Thinking"
Critical thinking is yet another chess film out that came out in 2020. This time it's a movie not a TV series. The timing is absolutely perfect since The Queen's Gambit TV show was a real hit for Netflix recently. Since the TV series was a fictional story I thought for sure a story based on true events should be even better. In some ways it is and in some ways it isn't.

My Review of "Tiger"
Tiger is a 2 part TV special that came out recently. It's an HBO sports special when there's not a lot of sports being played on TV. That's why I think this was probably the perfect time for this show to be aired. We all know who Tiger Woods is and we've all probably remember a lot of the crazy stories about his life. This series goes a little deeper and connects all the dots.
