Baby Crazy Baby
You get to a certain point in your life where you see the world in terms of certain inevitabilities. Everyone knows the age-old proverbs around death and taxes, just as all mothers who’ve popped out a kid or two know what’s coming for them in social situations. Whether it’s catching up with old friends or joining your extended family in one of those annual holiday reunions or awkward lunch dates with colleagues and acquaintances, you can just about guarantee at least one person is going to utter those five little words when the thought of children crosses their mind, “Are you having any more?”

Maps & Madness
From the haunted, mist and monster filled halls of Briarstone Asylum, to unknown realms brimming with Lovecraftian horrors, we lay our scene. Blood filled chambers, otherworldly creatures, and endless opportunities to come face to face with your more diabolical self (lost memories and doubles alike). There’s no better way to spend Friday night than engaging with these terrors side by side with your friends, except perhaps as the guide on the other side of the table.

The Other Golden Rule
Small, but mighty she smiles, ready for this bold new step. Dwarfed by the towering urban jungle and tall legs of grown figures leading their young into the depths of this brave new world, the tiny kindergarten child peeks up into the eyes of her mother. The unwavering trust lays bare, reflected in the woman’s own cautious glance. Every guardian, in this moment, chooses their make or break words and actions.

The Many Faces of Me
What an unforeseen moment of serendipity it was stumbling across this challenge so soon after reliving my own teen music experience with a close friend of mine. Just recently while wandering the well-worn track of our weekly walks, my best friend and I issued each other a challenge. We were to each put together our own playlist, filled to the brim with songs from our teenage years so that on our next walk we would be able to share and compare. For every song, we would detail how we came across it and why it resonated with us so heavily during our teenage years. Given our little friendly challenge, I’m sure you can understand why this Vocal prompt came as a pleasant, though somewhat unexpected and surreal surprise.
