Suicide Gone Wrong
At age 18, I ended up marrying the one whom my parents didn't approve of me seeing, the one who took my virginity when I was 15. In the beginning, our marriage was good, but when I got pregnant, he began looking at pornography and not wanting anything to do with me in the bedroom. I grew increasingly jealous, hating pornography for the effect it had already had on my life.

Suicide Gone Wrong
I grew up the second child out of four; one brother four years older than myself, and a younger brother and sister. We came from an unbroken Christian household, with a working father and a stay-at-home mother. Most would say this is a blessing in disguise, but I would beg to differ. My life has been somewhat of a mistake from the beginning.

Suicide Gone Wrong
At this point, I just wanted to hide from the world. I asked my husband if we could just sell everything, use the money to buy a camper, and just disappear, off to some hole in the woods, where no one could find me, hurt me, or betray me. I think, at the time, my husband knew my mental status and he just wanted to see me happy again, so he agreed to do whatever would make me happy.

Suicide Gone Wrong
Realizing the local police were not going to do anything about the child pornography I had turned in, I next turned to the Department of Internal Affairs at the sheriff's office. I explained to them what I had found and that my ex was claiming I set him up, but that I didn't set him up, and I was genuinely concerned for my children's safety.

Cutting The Ties That Bind
A young boy and his father attended a kite festival one evening. Upon arriving, the boy was in awe of all the beautiful kites floating about in the air. There must've been at least 50 kites being flown by their owners, each one different and significant in its own way; some flying lower, moving to the left and then swooping toward the right and some flying high in the sky, slow and steady.

The Very Nature of Life
There once was a kind-hearted and generous farmer who labored day and night, producing corn for many of the neighboring towns. During the winter, although he did not produce corn, he would walk his corn fields, checking the soil and patiently waiting on the next growing season. He looked forward to the days when the corn would sprout. It gave him a sense of accomplishment he only would feel when seeing the green sprouting from the soil. It was new life at its finest.
