A beautiful coastal city with a rich maritime history, A Coruña is a great place to relax and enjoy the incredible Galician scenery. The city's museums and art galleries are also well worth visiting.

Vigo

One of the largest cities in Galicia, Vigo is a thriving port city with a long history. The city is a popular tourist destination today, thanks to its beautiful setting, excellent restaurants, and lively nightlife.

Pontevedra

Another of Galicia's coastal cities, Pontevedra, is a lovely place to stroll around, with plenty of parks and gardens to enjoy. The city is also home to some fantastic museums.

Ourense

The province of Ourense is one of the most scenic parts of Galicia, and its capital city, also called Ourense, is definitely worth a visit. Ourense is famous for its hot springs, and there are many thermal baths in the city where you can relax and enjoy the benefits of the healing waters.

Cies Islands

Located off the coast of Galicia, the Cies Islands are a group of small islands famous for their unspoilt beaches and clear blue waters. The islands are only accessible by boat, but they make for a great day trip from any of Galicia's coastal cities.

Galicia is a fascinating autonomous community in northwest Spain. The region is well-known for its stunning scenery, rich culture, and delicious food and drink. We haven't had the chance to visit this beautiful part of Spain, however, after writing this article it has automatically placed itself at the top of the list!
