In creepy surroundings full of fear and panic due to a magnitude earthquake, occurred on February 6/2023, brought down many buildings in southern turkey near the northern border of Syria, trapping residents and sending others fleeing into the streets, while crushed people under buildings screamed for the help of rescue teams to get them out of the prison of ruins and mounds of debris to the freedom of life, there was a Muslim Turkish woman survivor who was trapped under the rubble in the city of Gaziantep refused to step out from under it and go to her freedom without her Islamic Hijab. She asked the rescue team to give her one. Check out the video showed here.

The whole world is impressed by this woman’s sense of modesty where in a special moment like this every single soul battles to survive but this Muslim woman didn’t want to get back her life and freedom without her Islamic Hijab, she proved to the whole world that Hijab is not a restriction of freedom but it is itself a freedom enjoyed by the Muslim women and girls with the feelings of peace provided by Hijab.

The resilience and adhering of this Muslim woman to her Islamic religion under such difficult condition should teach us that the obedience of Allah almighty in the middle of a calamity is what is going to save us.

Anyone calls for taking off Hijab to be free of its restriction, doesn’t understand the real meaning of freedom because no freedom without peace and no peace without Hijab and dressing modestly.

The veiled Muslim women and girls have freedom to study, work, practice different activities of sport, drive cars and bicycles, hang out with their families and friends without any feeling of restriction in their hijab but the female Muslims face the real restrictions when they are forced for example to choose between their veil and jobs offered by some companies based in countries as France which restrict wearing the veil during work hours, here they feel humiliated and they suffer from bullying and marginalization.

To counteract these feelings of humiliation and helplessness, two girls in France named Yasmine Darwaz (21 years old) and Hania El sheikh (19 years old) launched the “job hijab” platform to help this country’s veiled female Muslims find suitable jobs without being obliged to take off their hijab. Actually, this website managed to link veiled woman and girls with private sector companies and it succeeded in employing dozens.

Important question: How the veil is a restriction of freedom while many female Muslims around the world feel comfortable wearing it and they can’t live without their veil ??? The secret of comfort in wearing veil is contained in one word “peace”. Veiled women and girls who live peacefully in their hijab, they consequently feel comfortable.

Veil is not just a piece of cloth; it is obedience to Allah’s orders. Veil develops a healthy conscience, internal sense of responsibility and ability to regulate one’s emotions, thoughts and behaviors in the face of anything violates the teachings of Islam.

Is it allowed to anyone to rebel against the rules of the country where he lives under the pretext that these rules restrict his freedom??? The answer is absolutely no.

Similarly it is not allowed to anyone to rebel against his creator’s rules in the holy books under the pretext that these rules restrict his freedom. Your creator “Allah” knows what is good for you so he guides you through his holy books “Quran, bible and Torah.

Don’t judge what you don’t understand, if you don’t understand why should female Muslims veil themselves and dress modestly so please read the holy Quran to know more about Hijab.
