Check Out A Cubs Game! Attending a Chicago Cubs game is something I strongly advise. A Cubs game is a blast whether you're a Cubs fan, a baseball enthusiast, or even just a sports lover. There is no place like Wrigley Field for atmosphere. Fun for all ages – It's odd to consider. Every game is packed with a diverse group of spectators that support the same side. Children on field excursions, season ticket holders, clubs, fundraisers, pub crawl groups, and so on often fill the stands.

June is a pretty vital month in the Major League Baseball season, even if it is early in the year. The month of June is the final month before baseball's All-Star Break, which is a pivotal point of the season, as it pretty much determines who has a shot at the postseason, who will win their divisions, and who needs to do a lot to cross the playoff line. While all of that is still down the line, the month of June was quite memorable. Here are the key occurrences.
Clyde E. DawkinsPublished 2 years ago in UnbalancedWill Aaron Judge be in New York next year... just not with the Yankees?
The "New" New York Yankees The New York Yankees historically have been known as one of the greatest sports organizations across the globe. They have often had the reputation of flashing their wallets to obtain players to keep them the powerhouse they are known to be in the MLB. This is not exactly the case anymore. With new ownership being the late George Steinbrenner's son Hal, the spending has become look more like a money-ball technique. Hal and GM Brian Cashman have stayed under the luxury tax for over 6 years now, something the Yankees notoriously always paid due to their frequent spending. Although the Yankees have been spending lightly compared to previous years, they still rank 3rd in the league with their spending based on their tax allocation as shown by Spotrac below.
Nick ScibiliaPublished 2 years ago in UnbalancedHow To Get MLB Tickets and MLB Jerseys at Discounted Prices (+ Giveaways in 2022)
Major League Baseball has become one of the most popular sports in America, with local teams selling out games and high-profile players like Mike Trout and Bryce Harper making headlines on a daily basis. The MLB is also unique in that there are no home or away games; all games are played at the same stadium between different teams. That means you can’t simply go to your local team’s stadium to get tickets for that game. In order to see your favorite team play, you’ll need to buy tickets from them directly online or from a reselling vendor. Because the league doesn’t have any home or away teams, purchasing tickets can be tricky if you aren’t familiar with the team. But whether you want to see a preseason game or an important postseason clash, we have some tips on how you can get discounted MLB tickets and jerseys of your favorite players.
Your Life TransformedPublished 2 years ago in UnbalancedTake me out to the ball game!
My dad was considered a “ladies man”, but the man did not understand ladies! So growing up with a man who did not have sisters and barely knew much about women was…difficult. When my mom met my dad, she was a single mom to my sister who was ten at the time. My dad really did not know how to deal with women, especially girls. So when I came, it was a challenge for my dad. Of course he was happy to have a daughter and he even named me, however he did not know much about raising a daughter. While we had our ups and downs as a little girl, there was one way my father and I bonded: watching sports.

Photo by Jeffrey Hyde I was prompted to write this via a friend who did not take kindly to Aaron Judge turning down a 7 year 213.5 million dollar offer. “You should do a story on the selfishness of professional athletes,” he excoriated, but for me, the issue isn’t necessarily selfishness and greed.

The 2022 MLB season is closing in on the summer months, and that means the All-Star break is getting closer and closer. While the month of April serves as an introductory portion of the season--not as vital but important enough to give fans an idea of how each of the 30 teams will perform, the month of May serves as a tone-setting month. How each team stands after May is important, as June is the last full month before the all-important All-Star break. But that's down the line. Here's a look at a few teams that drew some attention in the month of May.

Joshua Charles HeflebowerPublished 2 years ago in Unbalanced Hiram Bithorn
Growing up in Puerto Rico, I quickly became aware of the island's favorite sports: baseball, boxing and...politics (oddly enough). Many times I heard stories of the heroes and trailblazers of these fields and of their accomplishments. They became legends to be admired and revered by generations of Puerto Ricans. They get monuments and stadiums named after them to further immortalize them to the people. The first such stadium I became aware of as a kid was Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan. This stadium became the host of many major sporting events and concerts. If a big-time band or pop star was coming through Puerto Rico, their show was almost certainly going to be at Hiram Bithorn Stadium. This stadium was even the "home" of the Montreal Expos for parts of the 2003 and 2004 seasons. The stadium’s history has made it one of the top prestigious venues in Puerto Rico.
