Baseball rankings as of Friday, July 15th, 2022.

1. New York Yankees- Is this a surprise? No, Aaron Judge and his supporting cast have blown teams out of the water this season and look to continue their dominance into the later months of the year. This team lacks in no areas, from the top of the order to the bottom. The pitching as well with Cole, Cortes, Severino, Taillon, and Holmes.

2. Los Angeles Dodgers- The team from out west, This team has it all and it starts from the jump, the lead off hitter, Trea Turner gives the Dodgers a spark every game with that batting average of .304, getting on base and stealing bags for those behind him to drive him home.

3. Houston Astros- With AL MVP candidate, Yordan Alvarez leading the charge, this team is deadly and has out of the park hitting (literally). Also keep in mind this team has rookie of the year candidate, Jeremy Pena. If i'm an American League team i'm hoping I don't see these guys in the playoffs.

4. Atlanta Braves- This ball club has a top tier pitching staff, oh and not to mention one of the best lead-off hitters in the game, Ronald Acuna Jr., their 13 game winning streak in June set this team off and they haven't turned it off since. They will be in a battle with the New York Mets for the NL East crown.

5. New York Mets- Just behind their rivals, the Mets have two of the best pitchers in the MLB in Jacob deGrom and Max Sherzer. The offense has been questionable for years in not giving support for their pitchers, but things have changed this year. An offense that is powered by the leagues RBI leader, Pete Alonso and others such as Francisco Lindor and Jeff McNeil . They look to keep 1st place in the division, coming off a huge series win vs Atlanta.

6. San Diego Padres- A team willed behind star Manny Machado, San Diego is not a team that will run up the score, but will play quality defense, ranked within top 10 in all defensive categories this team gets the nod at number 6. They say defense wins championships, Let's see it San Diego!

7. Milwaukee Brewers- A team with outstanding pitching in Corbin Burns and Josh Hader. This team is streaky, but don't let them get on the good side of that streak. The hitting may not be there in averages, but this team is 4th in home runs and if they get a runner or two on base, beware, they put up runs in multiples at a time.

HM: Seattle Mariners- Julio Rodriguez and his crew have been on a tear in the month of July, Looking to climb their way up the wild card standings and also in the AL West. This team is young and are full of studs. The bats have been on fire for this team, propelling them to 11 straight victories and winning 19 out of their last 22. This team is on the rise and isn't stopping anytime soon, they've also proved that they can beat tough competition, sweeping Toronto in an exciting series early July.

HM: Baltimore Orioles- The O's have been phenomenal as well in the month of July, In the toughest division in baseball, the AL East, Baltimore has gone above .500. This team has showed fight, putting up runs in bunches, this team can warm up in an instant. A team with players such as Cedric Mullins, a force to be reckoned with on the base paths. And home run hitters, Anthony Santander and Austin Hays, This team has potential in upcoming years. Not to mention young stars such as Adley Rutschman and Gunnar Henderson. This team is one to watch out for in the future.
