Check Out A Cubs Game!

Attending a Chicago Cubs game is something I strongly advise. A Cubs game is a blast whether you're a Cubs fan, a baseball enthusiast, or even just a sports lover. There is no place like Wrigley Field for atmosphere. Fun for all ages – It's odd to consider. Every game is packed with a diverse group of spectators that support the same side. Children on field excursions, season ticket holders, clubs, fundraisers, pub crawl groups, and so on often fill the stands.

I've spent my whole life attending Cubs games. Tickets to a game were dirt cheap when I was younger (way, way, way back when the Cubs weren't the most skilled club on the block). You could board the Addison Bus, spend $15 on a hot dog, a ticket to the game, and still have money left over to board the bus home. Get to the game early enough for batting practice, just a little advice. Many of the athletes like throwing extra balls and will sign almost anything. everybody except Carlos Marmol. That person is not at all amicable.

Oh, and another piece of advice: at Wrigley, I like to sit in the bleachers. Get bleacher seats if you want the finest experience imaginable. I've never encountered anybody like the fans that hang around there.

I'm very bummed that I haven't attended a game yet this season. But that is going to change since I just purchased tickets for the Diamondbacks game on August 4! If you happen to be reading this and the first pitch is thrown at 1:20, feel free to come down and meet me! I have seats in the stands.

If you want to enter the welcoming grounds, here are a few things I advise:

Witness the many bars as you go along the strip. Go socialize with other Cubs fans!

Use the batting cages at Sluggers Bar across the street without a doubt. They are famous, and this is an excellent location to see a game.

Visit a concert at Wrigley Field; they often include vintage bands and country musicians. The most recent performer there was Luke Bryan!

Remember to snap a photo in front of the renowned Wrigley sign. The pressure is on for you, so step up your Instagram game. I almost swear I'll get 250+ likes.

Families and children are welcome in the Wrigleyville area as well:

the game with chalk! Write your name on the renowned Wrigley Wall and make history!

The Cubs also provide a "movie in the park" event during the off-season. Bring everyone! They show vintage films. The Rookie of the Year, which was largely shot at Wrigley Field, is one of the most well-known!

Get something to eat! There are some AMAZING eateries around. With Dimo's Pizza, you can't go wrong. There is wonderful cuisine there (8.8/10). (Bite Rating: One)

I'll give you novices and bandwagons out there a little hint. When attending a game, there are a few things that are required. Get a bag of peanuts, please. Obviously, a hot dog with everything on it. perhaps a cold beer Wear only official Cubs apparel. There is nothing I detest more than when a fan wears a Bulls shirt and a Steelers cap to the stadium. Hey, guy. Don't cross sports, don't be that man. Back the home team and your hometown. After age 10, don't bring your glove to games (unless you're accompanying your child, in which case it's OK). Take hold of the ball and catch it! THAT IS WHY YOU GOT THEM! Look at this excellent illustration:

Another piece of advise is to support the clubhouse by purchasing some merchandise if you're truly in the mood. Wear your jersey with pride. And try purchasing a raffle ticket... You would be shocked. I'm not at all a gambler. But there's something magical about those tickets. Would advise.

There is nothing else like this stadium's culture. The mood beyond description. There aren't many MLB clubhouses that can claim to be a landmark, but this one can. It will always have a special place in my heart. Even if the stadium has been somewhat updated, there are still some reminders of the classic, old-fashioned home field that we all know and adore. I've been attending (long before the Cubs current success). I am aware that games have become much more costly, making them much more difficult to attend. But I make an effort to attend at least one game each summer (minimum). It is essential to Chicago culture.

Also, refrain from crying in our stadium like this man. Lie back, buddy. Just consider 2016. I can guarantee that it will make you grin.

So, bring your wife, kids, and friends. Screw it, go alone if you want. A pleasure, the Cubs game should always be enjoyed as such. Enjoy.
