The Growing Cases of Pedophilia
For decades and decades, some things have been true. 2+2=4, the opposite of up is down, and pedophilia is wrong and sick. With the arrest of Jeffery Epstein and his cohorts, there has been a renewed interest in the topic. There are some very prominent and powerful people that will be implicated in this and Hollywood is only the start, seemingly. There have always been people who will say this is a lifestyle and it shouldn't be made taboo. These are sick people and they need help! There have been T.V. shows devoted to catching these people. There are also organizations that not only protect these people but make it seem perfectly normal to have these feelings. Ladies and gentlemen, there is now a push to make pedophilia normal. Not just normal, but a recognized sexual orientation! Why? Because it is the only way to protect those rich and powerful people and keep their butts safe. Think about this for one minute if you will. The laws are often made to benefit those who write them. By changing the laws they protect themselves, and all their buddies that have been implicated in the Epstein case.
Bradley PerryPublished 4 years ago in The SwampA STUDY IN THE GEORGIAN ERA
Who were the Kings of the Georgian Era? As the name suggests, all but one had the name George, and this Era is a period in English history from 1714 to c.1831-37. The Hanoverian Kings were King Georges I to IV, but also included the short reign of William IV. Queen Victoria came to the throne after this king and she had an Era named after her, the Victorian Era.
Ruth Elizabeth StiffPublished 4 years ago in The SwampWhat is happening??
Don’t know where to start. The Pandemic made people so selfish that it didn’t matter who was in front of you. Then came the Protests and whoops.. everyone started to care for one another. I sense some hypocrisy.. but that’s just my opinion.
Lisa SultePublished 4 years ago in The SwampDocumentary Review: 'Boys State'
The new to Apple TV documentary Boys State is at once a major achievement and a dystopian, nightmare hellscape. Why? Well, because it’s the clearest indication yet of the damage we’ve done to our children with our ugly, thoughtless and needless political rhetoric. This documentary that should be an inspiring look at politically engaged young people seeking to become the future leaders of this country turns a harsh, unforgiving, light on the bankrupt and corrupt version of politics and leadership we are passing down to the next generation.
Sean PatrickPublished 4 years ago in The SwampWe have to get control of our country before it is too late
We are now living in the twilight zone. We are placing criminals on the street, because of a disease that is ravishing a large part of the country and the world, while placing business owners in jail for trying to feed themselves and their families. You can go to jail for not wearing a mask, but it wasn't good enough to give convicted felons, they had to be released for their safety. Meanwhile, rapists are rapping again and one has even killed his former victim. Bars are not allowed to opened and neither are gyms or fitness centers, yet, large scale protests and riots are allowed to happen with no repercussions. The police are under attack in this country and there seems to be no end in sight.

It has been revealed that the UK has entered the deepest recession in it's history following two consecutive quarters of negative economic growth. This was further exacerbated following the period of time that the country spent in lock down due to the Covid 19 pandemic. The government is only now starting to try and ease lock down measures and avoid a second spike in the virus which it is feared could cause measures to be tightened again.
Ashish PrabhuPublished 4 years ago in The SwampWhat I learn About America
What is America American can be an undefined country, because America consists of Native American who are the true Americans, who left before the British Colonel arrived in their land. The colonel then traded with the Native American, in which the colonel found an opportunity to steal land and pushed the Native American in reservation using their power. Many other nations from the European joined the land finding freedom for religion such as the pilgrim, others look for the opportunity of a better life and food. However Americans were claimed to be white people only. Withe was the only color that was free, other nations who joined faced many life challenges of racial discrimination. African American at that time were slaves with no rights and no equality to white. Many people from the European side or other nations had changed their name in order to be called white American, others suffered and fought for freedom such as the African American, Mexican worker who went to strike, and also some Europeans as well. Many years After the end of Slavery, African American and others around the world were still unable to have equal right to white American. Americans think that others come to steal their job and take away their opportunity. However as years passed many people were encouraged to give their life for others such as Martin Luther king one of the leaders of the Monocot, Rosa pack one the member of the Monocot, those leaders gave their life for others during the right movement in the 1960’s. Another one of the main issues was women were not equal to men in which women also endure many hard times in life. However they also stand and fight for their freedom as well as the African American, Mexican and other nation that face discrimination. After so many fights and protests African American and others were able to vote and more likely to be equal. However racist people still exist but there are laws against them that prevent them from exercising their power. After such equality among all nations this land then represents the land of freedom, in which everybody comes to sing one song no matter what color and nation you are.
Lucnalie JironvilPublished 4 years ago in The SwampDefining Democracy
The political system of democracy is very much like a chameleon. As time and world cultures change and develop new ideas of civilized order, the democratic process of human government continually makes entrances and exits in differing appearances throughout history. Much like how the actor in the course of a stage play can enter and exit a scene with one outfit and portraying one character, only to appear again, later on, with a different costume playing a secondary part with a completely opposite personality and moral compass; in comparison to their previous performance. For democracy ought to be concrete in it’s values and goals, but also have the ability to be flexible with the everlasting changes of the human condition and of human nature as new eras rise and fall, as well as when technology eliminates human dependency.
Jacob HerrPublished 4 years ago in The SwampKamala Harris: The First Step Back from the Precipice
I wrote a few days ago (and also posted a podcast) about why I strongly disagreed with Wade Davis's conclusion, in "The Unraveling of America" in Rolling Stone, that America was so far gone, in ways that the abysmal treatment of the COVID-19 pandemic epitomizes but didn't initiate, that nothing could reverse that decline. Nothing, including and especially, the upcoming Presidential election. I explained why I thought such a conclusion was not only dangerous but wrong, and cited FDR's election in 1932 as a ringing example of how a Presidential election can indeed make a difference, in that case, lifting us out of Great Depression, and enabling us to the lead the free world to defeat the Nazis.

Margaret MinnicksPublished 4 years ago in The Swamp - Second Place in Sustainability Hacks Challenge
Intersectional Environmentalism (Hacks and Resources)
Despite sustainability being second nature in Black and Brown homes, often unknowingly, the sustainability community is often dominated by white people making it difficult for BIPOC to feel included in the conversation. Additionally, "cruelty-free" options can be tone deaf and completely disregard environmental racism. Major distributors like Amazon are exploitative, therefore, not everyone is comfortable supporting unethical companies that are often included in posts about zero waste options.
Gabriella PomalesPublished 4 years ago in The Swamp Book Review: “Too Much and Never Enough” by Mary L. Trump
Initially, I was a bit apprehensive about reading this book, and I’ll tell you exactly why. Nearly everyone has tried to explain the dystopian apocalyptic nightmare that is the reign of Donald Trump as POTUS, even those who initially supported him during his 2016 election campaign. Since the mass movements that have developed during his presidency, the environmental crises, the Flint Water problems and many more, Donald Trump is more inactive than evil - even his Twitter account is more alive than his want to remove the dark stains that protrude through American History and are seemingly slipping through the cracks in his power once again. Again, everyone has written a book or thought about writing a book about why they cannot really understand how Donald Trump is still president through all of this, but I was more apprehensive about reading this particular one not because it was by his niece but because it was dealing with something that from research, I know to be a touchy subject: Donald Trump’s mental health.
