Finding Balance in a Tilted World
It all began on a peculiar morning, the day I anointed myself the "Extreme Armchair Expert". As the alarm clock rang with a blare that might've roused the dead (and I wished I were one of them), I sipped coffee that felt like molten tar and stared at a computer screen so bright I feared I'd develop a tan. How, I mused, did the only thing not going to extremes turn out to be my physical exertion? The most "extreme" thing about my day was the inclination of my chair, precisely calibrated to provide maximum comfort with minimum effort.

Mental Illness and Nostalgic Fantasies without considering the consequences. Content Warning.
Nostalgic Fantasies In today's digital age, the inundation of idiocy online is hard to ignore. This prevalence of hasty and impulsive posting has led to an alarming trend: the average social media post tends to be more thoughtless than the average user. The sheer volume of mindless content can be overwhelming, particularly on unfiltered platforms like Twitter. It's easy to become disheartened when faced with a constant stream of superficial and inconsequential posts.

TIPS TO TRAIN YOUR BRAIN TO DO WHAT IS NECESSARY
Our mind works in mysterious ways. When things feel stressful or tedious, our inner child awakens and procrastinates, imagining how difficult it's going to be to get started with a work for the day, start a side hustle, or study for an exam, our ego, or the self-image we have about ourselves. Our mind does its best to protect our ego from being hurt because the ego is what we attach to our self-worth. If I grew up believing I was gifted or better than most people -that made me feel special, but if suddenly I had to do something outside of my comfort zone, like ask out a beautiful woman, I would subconsciously avoid it because if I failed that would prove I wasn't gifted and it would destroy my ego. So, instead of preserving my self-image, I would avoid doing the hard thing at all so in either case of resistance trying to fight against our brain's natural response to doing hard things, it won't work, but if we identify the source of the opposition, we can change our approach to trick our brain into working with us.
