Life is a practice

Stop being cynical, young man

By Alice ThigpenPublished 2 years ago 3 min read

Yesterday is an abandoned check, tomorrow is an undue deposit, only today is cash at your disposal

I'm sure everyone has a few cynical young people in their circle of friends.

Their characteristics are complaining, bad environment, bad air, meager income, rising prices, the wide gap between the rich and the poor, unsound social system, and more and more materialistic relationships. It seems that they have a bad life every day.

You see, in the eyes of angry young people, the world is so not beautiful, bad let people lose all the power to struggle.

Of course, when I was younger, I was part of a larger group of angry young people. I wish that all the unhappiness in my life can be attributed to the dark side of society. Until one day, I read a statement on Weibo that it is better not to pay too much attention to the dark side of society when you are young, or your heart will become more and more divided, slowly eroding the positive power and creating the dark power.

No matter how bad the social situation we face, there are parts of us that we can control. Social change may take hundreds of years, but we only live once. It's not that long. So try to do what we can control in the time we have.

In this way, I suddenly became enlightened and gradually learned to stop complaining, to see more of the truth, kindness and beauty in society, and to try to record these simple and beautiful little happiness.

The reason why I like to write some true, good, and positive articles is that I find that there are still a lot of cynical young people teasing me on the Internet and in real life. In their hesitation, confusion using every need for someone to give positive energy.

Both the rich and the poor have a lot of troubles in real life. The poor usually have only one worry, which is the lack of money, and the rich worry, in addition to money, there are a lot of. Sometimes, we envy the bright, often chicken feathers.

So what we need to do is to change the attitude of complaining and actively do what we should do at present. As time goes by, difficulties will be overcome and life will be changed qualitatively.

Friends often say that change is painful, but it is the lowest cost, the fastest investment.

Yes! We can't control the world, but we can change ourselves.

When we are young, everything is like the end of the world, making us desperate and miserable. In fact, no, everything is just the beginning, we are still so young, but we can overcome all difficulties and move forward bravely.

Even like today's stock market, even if life crash is not terrible, did not experience the continuous limit of life, and what is enough to talk about life?

If the good is called wonderfully. If it is bad, it is called experience. Young man! Should live some free and easy, not always bitter hatred, cynicism.

Have ever seen such a sentence: people, this happy is a day, not happy is also a day, why always stare at those unhappy things? Why not give yourself a big smile?

So young people, please stop being cynical. Pay more attention to the simple, beautiful, and subtle little happiness in life, pay less attention to the dark side of society, and use our limited life to do something meaningful. After all, the world is everyone's life their own.
