Clothing and other lifestyle accessories are created through the art form of fashion design. Haute couture and ready-to-wear are the two fundamental subcategories of contemporary fashion design.

The haute couture line is made especially for a select group of consumers and is tailored to their specific measurements.

Fashion Designer :

Fashion designers must be aware of the demands of the fashion industry.

They must have a strong curiosity in learning new things and read periodicals, journals, and books on the history of fashion design and current trends.

Additionally, students must have an interest in art, visit galleries, and whenever possible, engage with different types of artists.

A designer should also be able to distinguish between various fabric quality levels and have some understanding of and expertise with tailoring (cutting, draping, stitching, etc.).

Fashion design also necessitates a thorough comprehension of the consumer’s demands and lifestyle.

Designers should be able to clearly explain their ideas and have good communication abilities.

But most important, they have to be very original.
