Bourbons to stock at home You could make the case that the best bourbon is whatever bottle you have readily available, but let’s not settle. We’re living in the golden age of spirits. Never before have there been more bottles of booze trying to get a parking space on your bar cart.
DOES RUM GO BAD?
Rum has steadily gained popularity as one of the most popular spirits in the business. This drink continues to change and reinvent itself despite its centuries of existence.
Are Wine Fridges Expensive? Do They Consume A Lot Of Electricity?
Temperature Control Any wine cooler worth its value will let you control the environment you want to store your liquor in. The discerning wine appreciator knows that fluctuations in temperature can spoil entire batches of wine. Wine coolers come with thermostats that keep the wine just the way it should be; pristine. Allowing for ranges of at least 20 degrees, wine coolers permit flexibility and personal preference for preserving wine in the long-term. As an added benefit, some high-end wine fridges come with dual zone technology, letting users store different wines at varying temperatures, all in the same fridge.

Isn’t this something we always tell our kids? Especially when encouraging them to mop up the green section of their dinner plate, in our endlessly optimistic, parental belief that one day our children will shower us in love for adorning their plate with the last Brussel Sprout? So, why is it then, as adults, we don’t always practice what we preach? It’s a common yet unexplained sight in a grocery store when you see a sampling table offering a free bite or sip of something to passing shoppers as they go about their day yet so many of those shoppers won’t stop and try what’s being offered to them for free! Why not? My unsubstantiated conclusion is that too many of us get stuck in our ways and stick to what we know and what we know we like but following that path forever means we’re likely to miss out on something new, something exciting and something, potentially, outer worldly delicious! Take the time to try folks! You just never know…….having said that, with so many of us opting to buy online these days, ‘try before you buy’ isn’t really a viable option so how can we experiment and not worry about it being a complete waste of our hard earned cash?
Drinklyte's Study Shows Competition in Hangover Prevention
Whether we’re enjoying one glass of wine after a long day of work or drinking our weight in jello shots at the bar with our friends, most of us have experienced the awful symptoms of a hangover. According to a study done by the University of Missouri-Columbia, researchers found that out of “1,230 college students, the most common hangover symptoms were feeling extremely thirsty or dehydrated, feeling more tired than usual, headache, nausea, and vomiting. Luckily, the rise of hydration products has been on the rise in the last few years and making its way into consumers’ hands. Drinklyte has been one of the newest hydration products on the market this last year, making its way through Liquid I.V., Cheers Health, and other popular competitors. Its advantage? A formula created not only for those who like to drink alcohol but specifically made to safely rehydrate our body’s after a night of drinking during chronic dehydration.
3 Alcohol Trends Shaping the Market for Summer
As summer is approaching and cities are beginning to reopen, people are making their way outdoors where the sunshine is beaming and a warm breeze is blowing. Traveling and resuming other “pre-pandemic” activities are becoming more common. This is the season for outdoor concerts, camping, BBQs, and relaxing on a boat with our favorite people. Life doesn’t get much better than this. The only thing that could top it off? An ice-cold drink. While some trends, such as ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages and seltzers, are sticking around, some companies are stepping up their game and making a big splash in the industry just in time for summer.
Top 5 Cleanest Cocktail Mixers
As the stress from social distancing, homeschooling and attempts of normalcy take their toll, adults are looking for ways to take the edge off and relax at the end of the day. The pandemic has changed the way that we shop, socialize, entertain, and the types of food and beverages that we consume. At the beginning of lockdown in 2020, alcohol sales skyrocketed and seeing these first few months of 2021, there’s no sign of slowing down for this industry. Consumers have turned into DIY bartenders, creating their own cocktails at home (which isn't always easy). While there may be challenges in creating indulgent beverages on our own, there are several clean mixers on the market that will have you wanting to make cocktails every night - without the guilt.

The frat star (and senior baseball teammate) yelled at me in a slurred scream during my first college party. I stood there in the corner awkwardly… not sure what to say… not sure what to do. The party raged on, and I made my first of many premature party departures back to my dorm room.
