5 Best Cocktail Straws for My Birthday Party
Silver Straw Cocktail straws might be one of the most misunderstood accessories known to mankind. On one hand, they are looked at with distrust because rumors about them leaching chemicals into your drinks persist on the internet. However, that is not at all true, and it is plastic straws on the other hand that can release chemicals, especially if over used.
Mohammad BarkatiPublished 4 years ago in ProofThree Spirit Review - No-alcohol drinking...is it any fun?
I confess, I enjoy a tipple every now and then. Okay, more like every now. I've never been an excessive drinker, but I like a glass of wine most evenings, and admittedly, this might be taking its toll on my liver.
Truly Hard Seltzer Review
I am always looking for new things in the grocery store to drink. It was Super Bowl LIV weekend and there was no shortage of beverages in the store. They were stacked in the aisles in areas that were not even related to beverages. When I saw cartons of Truly Hard Seltzer in the middle of an aisle, I was impressed with the beautiful slick cans. I put a carton of 12 in my shopping basket without looking at the price.

Spirits for Holiday Parties and Gifts
At one time, you could go into a store and find a liquor aisle to browse through. That aisle has now turned into a dozen aisles, with spirits you probably never even heard of. Some of those liquors you may never want or need. When you do want something different for a special occasion or a gift, how do you know where to start?
Marcia FrostPublished 4 years ago in Proof What! No Angostura Bitters
A PERSONAL HISTORY All the bars I have worked in or been a customer of there has always been a bottle of Angostura Bitters, clearly visible, standing amongst the exotic liqueurs and spirits waiting to be alchemised into cocktails and speciality drinks. That is, all bars except one.

It was lunch time. I was sitting at my desk in Baltimore, halfheartedly stabbing at my leftover spaghetti with a plastic fork. Though I’m a chronic work-through-lunch person, I’d had a particularly tiresome morning and decided to take a somewhat proper lunch break.

The origins of sake, the popular Japanese alcoholic beverage, remain somewhat ambiguous, but there's no denying its place as a cultural staple. Although the rice-based alcohol may not appeal to a great deal of American consumers, its simplistic nature and unique taste make it a popular beverage amongst a variety of niche drinkers.
Timothy KohutPublished 5 years ago in ProofBar Cleaning Products That Will Make Your Home Bar Sparkle
A surprising amount of heavy duty equipment and work goes into maintaining a commercial bar. High volume bars work through gallons of lemon juice, lime juice, sodas, and a wide variety of other mixers, which is a fast road to a sticky bar if you don't have the proper equipment. Home bartenders have a slightly different problem, as it's not necessary or financially realistic to purchase a bunch of heavy duty cleaning equipment when you aren't serving hundreds of customers. Luckily, there are plenty of must-have accessories for your home wine bar and incredibly high quality bar cleaning products that fulfill the needs of today's home bartender without breaking the bank.

Joseph D. N. KendrickPublished 6 years ago in ProofBest Canned Bloody Marys
My dad Devon Thomas lets me have alcohol so long as it's supervised. Lately, he's been seeing a woman named Chica Reyass, and she's mellowed him out so much that he's just a cool dude to hang out around. I no longer have to be as guarded as I was before. How guarded? When he'd ask me, "How are you feeling?" I'd say, "I feel how I feel." The alcohol was his way to try to get me to loosen up and think he was cool.
