Hamburgers are a long-time favorite, especially in the United States. Burgers have been an American staple for decades, being featured everywhere from fast food restaurants to five-star bistros. Despite its ready availability, there is one type of hamburger you will not find at a fast food restaurant—and that’s the Cannaburger.

Cannabis and junk food go together like peanut butter and jelly, so why not mix the two? A homemade, succulent burger is the way to kick that fast food craving and what better herb is there than marijuana? Every great burger needs a delicious spice blend for seasoning. Add some cannabis to your spice blend and you will have the best burger you have ever had.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground round beef
  • Finely ground decarboxylated cannabis
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon rock salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup minced onions
  • 1 egg
  • Hamburger bun of choice
  • Toppings of choice (Ketchup, Mustard, Lettuce, Tomato)

Recipe:

In a bowl combine beef, olive oil, rock salt, pepper, minced onions, and egg. Create 6 thin patties, about ½-inch thick. Sprinkle the finely ground cannabis on 3 patties in the center. Top each patty with the remaining three and seal the edges. On a frying pan or grill cook until desired burger is reached. Serve on your favorite hamburger bun and garnish with the toppings of your choice.
