Whispers of the Soul

In twilight's hush, where shadows dance,

I wandered through a world askance.

A journey deep within my heart,

To where the realms of muses start.

Upon a parchment, blank and white,

I sought to capture dreams in flight.

With quill in hand and ink ablaze,

I penned a verse, a poet's praise.

"Whispers of the soul," it spoke,

Through stanzas gentle, like wisps of smoke.

A tapestry of words entwined,

To paint emotions undefined.

Each syllable a tender touch,

Caressed the heart, expressed so much.

In metaphors, a tale was spun,

Of love's delight and battles won.

The rhythm pulsed, a beating heart,

With rhymes that weaved their subtle art.

From joyful highs to depths of woe,

A symphony of feelings flowed.

Through nature's eyes, I found my voice,

The melody of life's grand choice.

The ocean's roar, the mountain's might,

In verses soared, took flight.

With every line, a truth unfurled,

A glimpse into a timeless world.

Where love and loss, and dreams reside,

In poems penned, they never hide.
