Weakening Love

the flame went out...

In love's glow, once vivid and bright,

Fades like stars in the quiet night.

Gentle smiles dim, lose their sheen,

A dance that slows, becomes routine.

Whispers of affection slowly fade,

As passion's flame begins to evade.

Moments shared, slipping away,

Love's vibrant hues turn to gray.

Entwined hearts now drift apart,

A weakening beat, a fractured art.

Words unspoken, emotions conceal,

Bonds breaking, unraveling real.

Laughter that once echoed free,

Now replaced by a solemn sea.

A love that's dwindling, bit by bit,

Lost in time, a final submit.

Memories blur, shadows persist,

Love's last traces cease to exist.

A quiet farewell in the vast space,

A love story erased, without a trace.
