I am childlike

(Not childish)

He adores me for my spirit

(Not my body)

I am hopeful

(Not blindly optimistic)

He supports my dreams

(Not just the practical ones)

I am entertaining

(Not entertainment)

He laughs at my jokes and funny faces

(Not my wounded past)

I am strong

(Not overbearing)

He stays by my side

(Not only when he wants to)

I am open

(Not an oversharer)

He cries with me

(Not because of me)

I am honest

(Not hurtful)

He enjoys my personality

(Not because he benefits from it)

I am faithful

(Not locked away)

He serves me with love

(Not a slave’s obedience)

I love him

Nothing more, nothing less.
