to this little corner called earth

they asked me to be your guide

somewhat unwisely for what it's worth

what's humanity about?

well what can i say?

i think it's the stuff that we make

so boy do i have a weird treat for you today

i was thinking and wondering

what encompasses all?

like i said i was a bad choice for this job

then a name came to my head and that name was Bob

i remember the thrill the laughs the absurdity

my first time watching

the terror and the humanity

so i've decided we'll sit here

and get lost in a story

one with many twists and turns

even a touch gory

it all begins with a girl wrapped in plastic

a fish in a percolator

a story quite tragic

straightforward at first

then it takes some weird turns

a questionable civil war sub-plot

the mill mysteriously burns

you'll get to know humanity

through the calmness of Hawk

and then the ineptitude of deputy Andy

and of course it will tell you

of coffee and pie

all while introducing the very human instinct to lie

of course to sum it all up

in this box of time

would be like cooling this planet

instead of letting it heat

so let's sit down on this sofa

and binge watch Twin Peaks
