there are no secrets kept from those who left us

there are no secrets kept from those who left us

the grieved grieve their loss of wonder and curiosity

the last question that drives us mad

is whispered to the spirits and it makes them sad

are they laughing because they are in on the joke

are they furious because it was all for naught

are they happy in the ease of eternal serenity

the dead know all and tell no one

keeping one mystery alive

is their last bit of fun

if the living dare to feel their pain

the sorrowful secret drives them insane
