Two steps forward, one step backwards
Heartbreak,
Agonising pain,
Grief,
Sorrow,
Depth of depression.

Joy of anticipation,
Laughter from the belly,
Happiness,
Excitement,
The preciousness of touch.
**
Heart-swelling love,
Tears of joy,
The gift of giving,
Adoration,
Sexual attraction.
**
Love at first sight,
The bond of parenthood,
Friendship,
Sisterhood,
Sibling love.
**
Death of a loved one,
Sobbing anguish,
Tightness in the chest,
Overwhelming desperation,
Giving up.
**
Pride of achievement,
A job well done,
Stranger connection,
Group support,
Understanding.
**
Simplistic empathy,
Power of touch,
Supportive hug,
Listening ear,
Soothing words.
**
Awe of Mother Nature,
Beauty appreciation,
Creative outcomes,
Gracefully aging,
Letting go.
**
Surrender,
Support,
Ecstasy,
Sensory perception,
The love of life.
