The world we live in, is filled with paradox,
A lifelong dilemma we struggle to unlock,
For what is true today may soon be changed,
And what is false may be rearranged.
We search for true meaning in our lives,
A quest that oftentimes ends in strife,
We keep on moving in search of purpose,
A guide to help us swim to the surface.
But truth is fleeting and most times abstract,
A concept we can’t comprehend nor ever fully extract,
For what we perceive as truth, is a mere charade
And most times we’re left aggrieved and dismayed.
Yet still we seek to observe and understand,
To grasp the world with our own two hands,
And though we may seldom do succeed,
It’s part of life’s journey, and we mustn’t concede.
