can I overcome it?

My mind has conjured

Something insurmountable,

But I will prevail.

Ouu, this is beautiful. I love the power in this poem.❤️

  • I like the word “insurmountable.” That seems very definite. It’s something you CANNOT overcome. But. You will prevail. I like that.

Wonderful! There is always a path if we just look past our fear.

  • Wow this says so much Heather. Great work.

I love this. Our anticipation of a challenge is often much bigger than the actual challenge.

Insurmountable. That is a word to use, for sure. When the thoughts get too dark or hard to overcome, it often feels like we are being weighed down. The point driven forward is the fact that, even at those moments when things are difficult, we will rise. We will overcome.

Very strong and to the point. History is written by victors, is the poetry the same?
